First time I ate food from this place, my husband said he had hoagie sandwich from here a long time ago. So I gave it shot to try this place and when we walked in this morning on Saturday at 9:50am, there’s no one there which made me not so sure about eating here but then I was thought probably people were ordering to go (which is what we were doing actually). After we placed our order we waited and sat down. Then I told my husband the price for a breakfast sandwich (meat, egg & cheese) for $6 this kinda pricey for simply a breakfast sandwich than what we would get from Wawa (the sizzling) and also at my workplace in Basking Ridge New Jersey (they also use fresh eggs same like here but they’re rolls are bigger). My husband said to me well their sandwich might be bigger than Wawa, and for $5 homefries, most likely it will be a decent portion that I can have it for tomorrow as leftovers and I said alright then. I brought the food to our home that we were looking forward to have our lovely breakfast from this place and guess what, we ordered 2 sausage, egg and cheese on the bagel, 1 sausage, egg & no cheese on the bagel, 2 hashbrowns and an order of homefries. You’ll see on the pics I attached. Do you see bagel or brioche? Cuz we ordered bagels and the breakfast sandwich also is the same size as Wawa sizzling I know the pictures can’t really show much compare seeing in person but if you familiar with this square foam hinged container sizes you’ll see if not even fit completely. Also the $5 homefries looks like a kids size and my husband said “ok we’re not going back there anymore” I’m not a business owners but I ran a food business in Jersey so I’m familiar with prices and portion wise, the only differences is we serve bigger portions with less prices even like that we still have someone complaining about pricing and we’re located where rich people live. So if you wanted your place to be famous/ busy you need to win them, not like this way unless you used all of your produces, bakery and dairy organic which I doubt it. Ok it’s fine you’ll get the money for the price of your food but you might not see costumers coming back. Literally disappointed with these...
Read moreI have been going to Coach's for the last nine years since I moved back to Bucks and work for the County. I am not sure if ownership switched over, but today was my third consecutive bad experience. I normally pick it up, but ordered delivery in December and after waiting a long while my husband called to see if there was an issue with our order. We were told that it was left at our door over 20 minutes ago. There wasn't a knock or a doorbell ring and we ate our food cold. The second experience, I took my friend there for lunch in January when she came to visit. The staff was not friendly at all and when she asked why her cheesesteak was on a sesame roll the girl snapped at her. I ordered a cheesesteak as well and mine was on a regular roll. Tonight kind of sealed the deal for me. My parent's came to visit so I ordered online and then went during the time that it told me to go and pick it up. I got there and the girl behind the counter told me that their tablet wasn't working and never got my order. I pulled up my email and told her what the order was. After waiting about 45 minutes my order was ready. Keep in mind while I was waiting with my mom in the car, the one guy was just standing there behind the counter and the girl behind the counter was on her phone. When she gave me my order, there wasn't an apology or anything. I am not trying to be mean and I understand that things do happen, however, it is a little disrespectful when you are waiting and there doesn't seem to be much urgency. After paying $82 for dinner, I have to say that it felt as if my business did not matter. It will be awhile before I go back. Upset because I used to love this place and would go a lot with...
Read moreThese guys are doing it right! To start with they use an excellent advertising ploy by leaving their door open. This is what got me in the door...it smelled so good that I HAD to get a Buck Cheesesteak. The second thing they did right was allowing us to look over the menu without feeling like we were being rushed. The employee who took our order was awesome! He waited patiently for us to order as well as assisting us with our order since this was our first time here. Now let's talk about their food. We both ordered the Buck Cheesesteak with onions. It may not have been the absolute best I've ever had but it is extremely better than what most places in the area. The pricing is a little much but you need to figure in the area demographics and I would rather spend my money at a local small business than some chain restaurant. I will definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who will listen as well as returning every time I'm in Doylestown. Thank you for a wonderful experience & keep up the...
