My older boys and I HAD to check this place out! First off, we came in through the back alleyway and there is an adorable patio with a life-size connect four game, and adorable turquoise and white tables and chairs to enjoy your cookie bars outside if you wish. Once we walked inside it was the same adorable vibe of white and turquoise throughout the store. My sons and I had gone in already knowing we were going to get the box of four filled cookie bars for $29. Although I did think the price point was a little steep, it is understandable with all the ingredients that go into the filled bars. The four that we chose were… Nutella and kinder bar, brownie and peanut butter, and Milky Way. I am more of a dark chocolate gal myself and although these were very delicious, my favorite out of the four was the brownie peanut butter. I have already put in a recommendation of maybe making some bars with dark chocolate such as coconut and dark chocolate filled, or even an espresso dark chocolate brownie peanut butter filling. I love the idea of having chocolate milk and milk on tap. I think this place is definitely going to go far, especially with the kids from CB West HS and Lenape middle school that walk into town after school. Can't wait to see what's in store for...
Read moreDon’t waste your money here! The food is mediocre at best compared to the price. Two average size cookies will run you about $10 alone! After an underwhelming first visit, I decided to give Mandee’s another try, because they are a local, small business. However, all their products are poor in quality, and the owners seem to never be around. I was served by the same employee both times, a nervous but sweet seeming teenager. Both times, this kid was alone! I was told this is typical. The cookies I tried my most recent time, the key lime and cranberry oatmeal cookies, were far from satisfactory. The key lime, while edible, tastes nothing like the flavor it claims— just an overly sweet, plain cookie. The cranberry oatmeal was insanely dry and burnt, with again, no real flavor. The cookie bars aren’t even worth trying at their price point. Ownership team needs to step up in some way, because not only does your staff deserve support, you clearly cannot deliver a quality product worthy of such...
Read moreEvery time we go to Doylestown we used to stop here, mostly to bc we like to support small businesses. Today was the last time. There was a couple in front of my husband and I, the person helping them told them where the restroom was(upstairs). My husband ordered a milkshake and I went to use to restroom(which btw was filthy). When coming back down, one of the girls working there (daughter?) told me this is a private restroom. Confused that maybe she didn’t realize that I was just with my husband(customer) I told her he just had bought something. She proceeded to scold me that it was for private use only & she was letting me know for the next time. I told her not to worry there won’t be a next time. I will take my business somewhere else. Entitled, rude, expensive and mediocre sweets. You did us a favor by never having to returning to your dbag place at dtown city. All customers are valuable honey. What a joke! Ps- clean your filthy private restroom-...
