Delivery service: i would caution about utilizing the delivery service which you are directed to from Opa's web site. The service Opa uses just leaves your order outside "a" door without knocking to confirm recept of order. I say "a" door because it might not be your door, as was the case last night. They will not ask their driver to rectify their mistake, they will ask you to try to find your order from the blurry picture they send you. Believe me. I tried, in the rain, to no avail. Yes, I went out in the rain looking for over half an hour. Yes I did. Although refunded, I would have rather had my order. Sign me still craving Opa. Opa,get a new delivery service or your own driver.
Based on OPAs response to my review, their derogatory comments about me, as well as disclosing identifying personal information, I stand by my one star review. The food was not delivered on our street as noted in the comments below. The business owner is unfamilar with our development and should not make assumptions. An apology and persuing better delivery options would be a healthier business option rather than disparaging and blaming potential customers. Poor...
Read moreI don’t even know what else to say, I should be eating my food right now instead of writing a review but I just spent $150 here and each meal was suppose to come with Tzatziki sauce and we got ZERO. I’m sure most can agree that the sauce is what makes the meal, especially when it’s this bland. Out of $150 I was offered a $3 refund for the sauce that did not show. There was no offer to deliver the sauce and nothing to make it right. They also admitted that it was the cooks who forgot the sauce, not the delivery driver. I’m greatly confused on how cooks IN A GREEK restaurant, forget the sauce. I’m not sure where these stellar reviews are coming from but don’t waste your time. The food we tasted was below average anyway, and we definitely won’t be ordering again. Sad, this was our very first time trying and after the food and lack of customer service we won’t be ordering again.
Edit: I see we were accused of being “abusive”. I am unsure where this is coming from. We were merely trying to hold your business and staff accountable and to the standards you claim your restaurant to be. Please steer clear...
Read moreGot a gyro to go for lunch ($10, very fair price) to eat really quick in the car. Was ready very fast, pita was warm, soft, and chewy (👍). Gyro meat was juicy and not dry at all (👍) and it was a generous portion. Very very good. Only issue is that the tzatziki (which was delicious) was kind of all schlopped onto one part of the sandwich...not a big deal because I could spread it around easily. The tzatziki was surprisingly good because it was mostly white and didn't have the little flakes of dill or other green herbs I usually expect from tzatziki....so I was expecting it to be very bland but I was very wrong. Lastly, it could have used more onions...not everyone likes onions like me so this is a personal preference, next time I'll order extra onions. Normally I don't write reviews but this was a great gyro and I hope the review helps them stay in business. Will try the souvlaki and falafel on future visits, plenty of parking in the back. WILL DEFINITELY...
