Wheat & Vine Provisions — Restaurant in Doylestown

Disappointing experience overall.

When we arrived, the café was nearly empty—just one other customer inside, and only two more came in later for coffee. Despite the lack of a crowd, the service was slow and inattentive.

They forgot my sweet tea, which I had to request again. Then, they brought out food for just one person in our party, and after waiting and following up, my meal finally arrived—by which time the other person was already more than halfway finished.

Our order included a bagel sandwich, but after several minutes, one of the staff came back to say they had forgotten to mention they were out of bagels.

The two young women working seemed more focused on chatting with each other than serving the customers. With such a light crowd, there was no excuse for the lack of attention. Unfortunately, we left unimpressed and...

I used Wheat and Vine Provisions to cater my daughter’s baby shower this past weekend. They were amazing and I would highly recommend them for catering any event. We even had some guests with serious food allergies and I was concerned about what to do with the catering. Wheat and Vine (Chrissie and Jessica) worked with me and were so accommodating and even had great suggestions so I didn’t have to worry! Also, the delivery of the food was so easy and they weren’t just on time - they were 10 minutes early! So many guests came up to me and raved about how wonderful the food was - from the amazing sandwiches to the salad with their delicious lemon vinaigrette. This is the absolute BEST place in Doylestown. They are a gourmet food shop that has so many amazing quality products from all over the east coast. They feature a great selection of hand picked cheeses, many gourmet snacks from jams to popcorn and fresh Piebird pies & pastry products. They also feature an array of made to order coffee drinks, and other non coffee drink options. Their coffee comes from an exquisite company out of Philadelphia, called Rival Brothers.
