Red Rooster Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Doylestown

Solid sandwich and fries, service / atmosphere missing that final 10%.

Weirdly quiet inside, random large stacks of extra chairs sitting around. Trashcan was full, table needing wiping down. Interior is modern and well done but the little details are still lacking.

All orders are being treated as take away which means you’re walking less than 20 steps and unpacking a bag / box. Shared a 2 sandwich / fry combo - Just give me a tray or a plate please.

Most importantly - this place serves messy food and the napkins are too small and inadequate. A roll of paper towels at each table would be welcome.

All the food tastes is amazing. Chicken is lightly fried wonderfully, the Rooster sauce is the perfect combo for the fries and BBQ sauce (if you get that addition), the fries have great light seasonig and not over salted, and the slice levels are perfect for any one (from no spice casuals to the Reaper dare devils). And you literally can not beat the prices for how good it tastes! The staff is also very nice...

Ordered lunch asked for no rooster sauce, but opened the bag to see rooster sauce spilling out of the to go container… there was a cup of rooster sauce without a lid. Food was lukewarm at best, thanks for the mess. It’ll probably be a while if/when I give it a second chance. Lots of 5 star reviews on here without any explanation,...
