Well, this restaurant was really nice. It is located at the Sheraton Vistana Resort, in close proximity to the major pool area. The service was exquisite! Armando and Jeannine, especially Armando, was excellent and understands customer relations and service! He was so nice, noticing that I was visibly shaken about the misfortune that happened to me and my two grandchildren prior to arriving at the resort. He was a sweetheart. He used his personal break time to help me install Uber transportation on my phone. Jeannine had words of encouragement, but Armando made my stay there wonderful! He uplifted my spirit as I was about to throw in the towel, literally! He told me not to worry. My pre-paid rental car had been given away, leaving me and the grands stranded at the resort with no way to visit the attractions in Orlando. What a kind, compassionate employee! He is an excellent addition to your staff and the resort. He was patient as we selected our entrees. The young man who served us dinner was kind also. He had a short name. However, I can't recall it. I think it was Mac, Leo, or something short. Bottom line, the breakfast and dinner food was delicious. Service was above and beyond! I definitely would visit again because of these interactions. By the way, I do recognize service at restaurants! I am a top ten Google restaurant reviewer! Visiting Sheraton Vistana Resort, give them a try! You won't...
Read moreIf you’re staying at the Sheraton Vistana Villages resort and thinking this would be a great, resort-service style restaurant, my advice is to readjust your expectations. The restaurant is nearly completely self-service from getting your own utensils and menu, seating yourself, ordering your food through an app, and cleaning your own table. There are no servers floating around to assist with issues or needs, etc., no free refills. Just keep this in mind. My biggest complaint was the food quality. My husband ordered a burger and upon its arrival, we realized the cheese paper had been left on it and served to us… it was really obvious and I’m not sure how they missed it. I ordered the shrimp fiesta bowl, which came with a sad 5 scrawny shrimps priced at $18 for a little corn, 2 lime wedges and 4 small pieces of pineapple for $18. It was really lackluster, and lived up to the reputation of hotel food being less than average. I would say airport...
Read moreDon't eat here! The prices are OUTRAGEOUS! My bill was $130.00 for 2 people and 1 child to eat Thanksgiving dinner. For a prospective, I ate at Fogo de Chão and spent $100.00, including a tip; so my expectations should be similar for the amount of money.
No. The food was subpar, slightly above what you could find in the Golden Coral buffet line. The ham was dry, the turkey wasn't seasoned. On top of that, my ice tea glass was empty for most of the meal and the tea was made with unfiltered water, so it had that spicy Orlando sulfur aftertaste to it.
For $130 dollars I expect high quality food and excellent service, I received neither. Instead I got the coals ran over me. I guess I was the turkey for thinking I could get a reasonably priced meal on Thanksgiving. I should have seen it coming when the same place charged me $10.00 for a bucket of popcorn that costs about .87...
