Five Guys — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

It's been a long time since I've been at this location but nothing has changed. They still have great food and friendly service. Five guys might be all about burgers and fries but sometimes you just have to have a hot dog. I walked in just before 1:00 in the afternoon and there was one person in the place. Not exactly the rush time though. I ordered myself a bacon dog and kept it pretty simple they're just mustard, pickles and drill jalapenos. And also got myself a few peanuts on the side because I like peanuts. Always a tasty addition when you're in any of their locations. My food was prepared perfectly and tasted great. Worst five guys you could possibly go to. After a good day out with my family , we decided to stop at this five guys for some great food. The minute we walked in, we did not feel welcomed . The staff was very rude. When it was our turn to order our food , the cashier walked away and left us there without any assistance. A manager had to come and step in. The manager was helpful and nice. When we received our food , our order was wrong and my milkshake was left out sitting on the counter for a while. I had to ask for another milkshake. Please hire better staff. People come out to eat to enjoy their food and to be treated with respect by employees. Please do better. I will never come back to this restaurant again. Ok, Five Guys is amazing. If you haven't eaten there, stop what you are doing now and drive straight there. Bring a friend because the fries come in bulk. Sadly, the day we came the shake machine was down, otherwise I would be trying for 6 stars. They have the coke touchscreen mix a flavor machine, which is super fun and makes getting a fountain drink a real draw.

They have malt vinegar to add for fries, but I assume that is a Yankee thing since literally no one I know of would dream to taint their fries with malt vinegar.

Also note; free peanuts!

They also tell you where the potatoes for the fries are from, which changes based on the bag that came off the truck.
