McDonald’s should seriously discontinue their attempt to provide a Chicken Sandwich similar to the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. I’ve ordered their version from 3 different locations and it’s not even close. My last time was yesterday at this location. And here’s how things went down. To begin, I was asked to pull over into Spot 2 after waiting for awhile through the drive thru. First of all, this is a very common practice at McDonald’s, but someone should seriously let corporate know that this is one of the most inconsiderate practices of all time.
Let me spell it out from a customer’s viewpoint... Your customers wait patiently through the drive thru and finally when it’s their turn to be served, your employee takes their money and then ask them to “move out of the way” Wait some more while you serve the cars that arrived after them Most likely leave frustrated because after all of that, the order is wrong, missing an item, or even worse, cold as ice
I mean what in the world is that???
So back to my review... I WILL NOT be gracing this location with all of my fabulousness again. As you may have guessed, my soliloquy above has everything to do with my experience at this location yesterday.
Not only was the drive thru wait long (not an issue at all...cause this could mean this spot is thumping). Sadly not the case in my experience. After taking my payment, I roll up to the next window where the guy working the window is just waiting to ask me to pull around and park in Spot 2. I’m like, “Uh, come again?” No offer to give me and my kids our drinks, their cookies... nothing, nada, zilch. So I advise him that he could at least give us our drinks or asks us if we would like them now.
Yup, y’all guessed how this story unfolds...a different guy brings the bag of food to the car (Spot 2) and my son’s Chicken Nuggets are missing from the order. So I call the number on the receipt and let the woman that answers know that I was asked to pull into Spot 2 from the drive thru and my food was just brought out to the car missing my son’s nuggets. I ain’t even making this up...this heifah (and I normally wouldn’t say that but in this case it definitely applies cause I just explained very kindly what the issue was) replies, you have to call the Uber Eats customer service number and they will refund your order????? What the WHAT??? Who said anything about UberEats? Now y’all know why I had to refer to her as a heifah. Completely uncalled for...when a customer calls to inform you of a service issue... I’m going to need you to listen to the words coming out of my mouth. And for those reading this review wondering what “heifah” means...well it’s the old school grandma way of saying, “Bye Felicia”!
Then I repeat the exact same thing I had just said and asked her where did I say the words UberEats? She said okay, we’ll bring the nuggets right out. The nuggets came about 5 minutes later, as I watch yet more and more cars that arrived after us be served and leave before us.
The Sandwich was dry, thin, burnt, and hard as a rock. You how did gets when you microwave it for too long and then it cools down and gets hard? Well that’s what I bit into. And not just on this occasion... same experience ALL 3 times from 3 different locations. So now it’s clear that the picture of these sandwiches on the marquee is completely different from what actually comes out of the microwave.
So after this hot mess of an experience...I’m saying Good Bye to McDonald’s pathetic version of a Chick-fil-A’s undeniably delicious Chicken Sandwich. Y’all please tell McDonald’s to STOP...
Read moreShowed up at this 24 hour location drove up to the drive thru only to be told it's cash only. In inconvenience bit understandable at 3am. Went to the ATM grabbed some cash, then went inside. This is where I really saw a Trainwreck unfold before my eyes. Every single ordering station said closed, went to the counter where I found every register flashing closed, as I stood there for no less than 5 minutes where no one acknowledged my presence. Finally after watching employees scramble around trying to make orders a rude girl comes up and says cash only. What you want. I placed my order where she then stops me to wander off grab something, then come back, she grabbed a pen and a bag to write on, she then writes down my order taps on the closed register proceeds to scribble numbers down on the bag and tells me 4 cheeseburgers and fries (no double or fancy burger) would be $13. I was like what? The then turns around the register and showed me the screen and says "you want to do it yourself? Looking at a mass of buttons I am unfamiliar, but given a few minutes I could most likely out perform her (leaning back to my younger days as a server) I was like I don't have time to learn a POS system, paid my money she pulled out (not kidding here) an iPhone to calculate my change from a $20 bill. I asked her for a receipt for tax purposes. She was like do you not see these are not working. I replied with well perhapse you should not be taking money then. Another younger girl came over with a headset and apologized and explained that this happens every night between 3am and 4am. All I can think of is perhapse you should close between those hours, between the staff and managers they must make a killing with no way to track all that cash and sales between...
Read moreI went today to buy a happy meal for my son also to buy all the collection of the incredibles. We always do this. He loves to collect all the toys but the manager and the assistant manager where really rude. Not only that but she also lie to me when I ask her if she can look at the back for the toys. The last manager used to do that all the time and she says that they didn't have any box and she left. The restaurant wasn't busy at the moment. When I get there I was the only one in line. If it wasn't for Cary that says that she was going to look for me then I probably I would have had to go without toys and with my son sad. Cary was really nice and the 2 people that they are supposed to have the best customer service where the worst. If they don't know how to handle customers or work under pressure then that is not the job for them. The assistant manager was talking really loud and treating customers in a bad way and bad mood. This Mc donald's used to be really good but with this 2 right now is getting bad. This place is supposed to be for families but how you can take your kid there when they are going to treat you like that, its not like we where asking for something free. Also another thing that caught my attention was that they are not using gloves, this is bad. I saw one of the girls putting the french fries on a bag and she touch the fries with her hand the manager do the same thing. This is disgusting, they are manipulating food and we don't know what they touch before they put there hands in our food. This place is...
