Went here for my mom's bday this past Sunday and I have thoughts. From the moment we walked in the vibes were subpar. The staff watched us intently which was extremely uncomfortable. Nakita currently, as of this review, doesn't have their dress code or anything really on their website, so some of our party didn't come in dress code. The table actually completely understood this fact and was apologetic for coming in the wrong attire, however, hearing the staff discuss it in where they thought we couldn't hear was disappointing. Our server was okay, but it was clear she may have been off put by group. We're a pretty boisterous group in general so I can understand that, but it added to this feeling of unwelcome.
As we began to order and eat the energy improved, but the intense stares didn't. The food is probably the best part of the restaurant. taste wise I surprised and delighted with the meal. I really enjoyed their happy hour menu as it was much smaller and fair bit cheaper than their full price menu making this a wonderful option for folks looking for a tasty fancy meal on a budget.
When it came time to pay the service, it was even more uncomfortable. The server hovered at the table as we were organizing payment and even when I politely asked the server to give us a moment because it would take a while, they continued to hover. Myself and my mother were having some difficultly organizing payment so finally the server gave of space to figure it out, only for us to audibly hear them discussing the issues with our payment to other staff with in earshot. We resolved our payment issues and were able to cover everything but the constant judging from staff was again, disappointing.
Also, I asked for water and they brought out Saratoga water which is not what I was anticipating. Plain tap water wasn't even presented as an option, which this is an expensive swanky new restaurant so I understand, but I still think any place offering a happy hour menu should also offer tap water.
The restaurant is small and was empty on this past Sunday which is why we could hear their conversations but they weren't interested in hiding it, either. This restaurant is expensive, and I can understand what comes with that. They were expecting a certain kind of patron and we were a working class family just wanting to try a new spot in town for my mom's birthday and we didn't fit that mold. Maybe that wasn't the vibe they were going for, but that's the vibe they gave off.
I loosely recommend this spot. If you want a party vibe come on Friday and Saturday. For a chill and relaxing atmosphere, Sunday is certainly the day, and do during their happy hour from 4P-7:30P, and for the love of god please make sure you follow their dress code available on their socials and not their website, because lord forbit they charge $20 bucks for a cocktail and not a website builder so that all of their restaurant information is available to patrons in one easy to...

This restaurant is catered to tourists focusing in aesthetically pleasing Instagram walls and smokey club music dining rooms than quality of food and service. Although the restaurant emphasizes to be an upscale classy restaurant by high prices, an automatic 20% gratituty and enforced dresscode - the restaurant lacks professionalism in hospitality and food service to be tiered as such.
Service: from being seated - it took about 30 min to be acknowledged. When serving food, runners and server did not know what food they were serving, nor did they know whose food belong to who. Several items ordered never arrived, waited close to an hr for our dessert and had to go to the hostess desk to pay as we waited another while for a check. Seemed the restaurant was more focus on giving tables a happy birthday sparkler sing song then being attentative to serving guests.
Food: Ordered the Pulpo, the tuna crispy rice, fries, pork belly udon and two sushi rolls. The pulpo and the crispy rice did not arrive. The sushi was sub par but expensive: 20- 30 dollars each! They were plated beautifully but tasted ok. There are other local places in the area for Michelin sushi that is not that expensive!
Atmosphere: there is loud music, a smoke machine, and stobe lights - like. A. Club. Don't get me wrong - love club vibes but not when I am out with family and friends at dinner. Not fun when we all have to yell to have a conversation and straining to hear one another.
Bottomline - this restaurant is more for social media posts and reels than the actual experience of good food and service. Will not return and most likely...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I’ve ever had dining at a restaurant. After getting sat, it took me 20 minutes later to go to the host and ask if we can get some service. 20 minutes after that someone finally came over. By then we were so hungry we didn’t even want to get drinks so we ordered food. After a while, the food started coming out as they auctioned it off so unprofessionally in an environment where they play the music SO Hysterically loud, nobody could hear anything. Why wouldn’t they know where the food would be going? It’s called position points. We were a 7 top and they took orders with a hand held and manage to screw up most of our food , not to mention, a few of our orders just never came. When we inquired about It and Wanted to cancel it they said no we could not cancel it. We sat there for another 25 Minutes and asked where it was, an absolute clueless face on our server. Which was a good thing for us because we were able to not have it on our bill .There are more managers with earpieces in their ear than actual servers taking care of people. The food is Sysco Grade garbage. The picture that I’m sharing was their udon and pork belly dish. It was a barbecue ketchup sauce. It was so bad. Laughable. It’s hard to Explain how terrible the food is here. If you like to yell and say, “what “ over and over to the person you’re dining with over and over and over again while eating Sysco terrible food you’ll love it here. Hard pass if you want to have an enjoyable night out and actually savor what you’re eating and experiencing. I would give this zero...
