Del Taco — Restaurant in Draper

This location is terrible. I've had several bad experiences just this year. My first bad experience happened when I ordered a crispy chicken ranch taco, They gave me tacos made with this DISGUSTING shredded chicken (crispy chicken tacos are made with chicken tenders not shredded chicken). So I took it back and explained the problem, they tried to charge me to get the correct taco I was asking for (even though I ordered correctly, it was just made incorrectly on their part).

And my latest incident happened today 7/24/21. Ordered through the drive through, I asked a couple questions as far as if they had any juices, she said no, so I then asked if they had anything not carbonated, she said she didn't know, and then went completely silent over the headset, I just ordered a sprite for my kid and called it a good day. I sat waiting for her to read me back my order so I could pull forward, nothing deas silence, So I pulled forward to the window. A woman with short hair and a collared black shirt (assuming she's some sort of management) opens to tell me my total so I ask if she would read me back my order first, she literally said "ey yi yi" and got all huffy. I corrected her with what she had wrong with my order, she comes back with a new total that's 5 dollars more than the original total, I didn't understand how it had gone up but was sick of interacting with this woman so I gave her my money. Got my order and come to find out she had charged me for a extra Fry (no clue why? I didn't order them). Normally I would go back in and get my money back, but that woman is so unpleasant, I don't plan to step foot near...

To Del and back for the Queso Crunch Taco

Dear Queso Crunch Taco I cannot get enough of your cheesy, melty goodness. You arrive in the perfect size corn tortilla loaded with hot, flavorful ground beef. If that weren’t perfect enough, luscious yellow mounds of freshly grated cheese compliment your bovine interior. A generous, albeit less sinful, mountain of crisp iceberg lettuce cascades over the beauty found within. You are positively tempting as you are but then you add that extra layer and I lose all my inhibitions. You blanket yourself in a warm, floury tortilla. The duality of your existence is inspiring. You are one part crunchy and another part soft. To prevent your tender outer layer from slipping off, you surround your crispy interior with gooey queso blanco, fresh and piping hot. The brilliant adhesive gives off a subtle spice that makes my eyes water with every carefully selected bite. This is where I confess my obsession may be going too far. I cover you so delicately, little by little, in searing hot Inferno sauce during each significant meeting with my incisors. I am eating you but I am not ashamed. You are soon a part of me, though you are no longer with me. I reflect on our brief time together, the way that you have stolen my hunger and stung my lips. I think to myself there can’t possibly be a greater love in all the world than man and queso crunch taco. Just when I feel that my loss can never be rectified, I scan the brown paper bag you arrived in and gasp. You have an identical twin sister…….but not for long.

Came through the drive-through tonight to place an order for our family when we were here a few days prior they forgot to items in our order so I had called the manager. I spoke with just to come back for the next few days and then they would Replace those items. I went into the drive-through and told the girl about the situation. She asked me the name of the manager, which I did not know I don’t recall him so I told her it was just two items and then also go to order some items. She was super rude, completely lying to her then after I got done placing my order, she literally said quotation mark OK whatever pull up extremely rude and snarky. I understand I should have known the name of your I spoke with, but I truly do not recall them giving me their name and I also ordered an additional $28 worth of food so it’s not like I just came through the drive-through to just get free food and lied to them which is how she acted! Come to this location all the time after this I don’t think that we will come back to...
