I stayed here for the past two nights and it was a fantastic experience. I was in a King Room on the second floor near the pool. The Rooms are extremely clean, which is very important to me while traveling for business during the COVID-19 pandemic. I had a variety of healthy options for my continental breakfast. It was nice to be able to swim after long work days. I am a ski and snowboard coach. The exercise room has a TV, Stairmaster, Eliptical Trainer, and Treadmill. There are also a variety of dumbells (free weights). I am training for the upcoming ski and snowboard season. Lastly, I travel a lot for work and have been on the road all over Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana this summer. This was one of my most pleasant stops. The staff under the manager Scott is excellent and know hospitality. The staff members are all friendly and from interesting and diverse backgrounds. I had a great conversation with Claudia the Housekeeping Team Leader about snowboarding. Also, I had one of the coolest conversations of the summer with a member of the housekeeping staff. She was from Nepal and her husband is a retired Sherpa with 21 Mount Everest summits! We chatted for a while about climbing and being a spouse of a mountain professional. It was really fascinating and fun to learn about her life experience. I like that Marriott Bonvoy is a company that values diversity, I look forward to staying here again. I will be recommending this Fairfield Inn property to friends coming to ski, snowboard, and climb in the...
Read moreRoom was ok, although outlet by bed didn’t work and lock on door was missing a screw. Staff was not friendly at all. We’ve stayed at dozens of Marriott chain hotels. This is the only one we’ve ever found to not have an elevator. So we had to lug our luggage up stairs. It was also the only one who didn’t give us water when we checked in. Even when we asked. We are platinum elite and water is always offered. Even when we were lower status they always acknowledged the elite membership, thanked us for being a loyal customer, and gave us water. Often we even get a gift bag with snacks. Not this one. And when we asked for an upgrade (standard with platinum status, we don’t even usually have to ask) she didn’t even answer. Just said she put us in the middle on the second floor, “where it’s the quietest”. Either she doesn’t have a clue or just didn’t want to bother to give us a good room. We were right beside the stairs and were woken up by noisy kids and people going up and down the stairs in the middle of the night. We usually have a room at the very end of one of the halls, away from the road. This was neither. The lady at the front desk didn’t ask how our stay was when we checked out. Staff is not friendly at all. Overall, this was very disappointing. We’ve always enjoyed our stays with Marriott hotels, until this one. I’ve never written a bad review, ever. But I feel like people should know there is no elevator and terrible customer service. We’ll not...
Read moreThis was our first stay at this Fairfield Inn, it will be our last. Our room was not clean at all. There was some sort of liquid that was splattered on the walls. Barf. When we pulled back the sheets to the bed there were two long hairs in our bed. Yes. Hair. We called the front desk to get new sheets and could not get anyone to resolve this issue. Apparently they didn't believe us. So we used our own blankets and didn't sleep in the beds. The breakfast was horrible. The "sausage" was not cooked and was disgusting. There was nothing on the breakfast buffet that was edible. Our family has stayed in several Marriott brands. Every time we travel we automatically book through Marriott. This was the worst experience we have ever had. The front desk was incompetent. At one point she lost my credit card and kept asking me for it. I told her I had given it to her. She had dropped it on the floor and couldn't find it. It just seemed that we were stuck in some alternate universe. There were so many problems with our stay. When we checked out the woman at the front desk wouldn't talk to me. Literally wouldn't say a word. Apparently they knew of our problems and decided not address them.... or us....
