Dinner on a Sunday evening. Price $15.99 for dinner buffet per person, and kids under 3 eat free (siding scale based on age for older kids). Clean bathroom! Women's was out of soap in one dispenser though, and the other dispenser's non-touch function wasn't working. Immediately impressed by their salads--all super fresh lettuce and spinach. Would have liked more fresh vegetable options. The broccoli slaw was slightly more mildly dressed than I remember two years ago--perfect amount now. My almost-two-year-old loved their cooked veggies! Rolls were wonderful--and huge. Was glad I had family to share with, because I didn't want a whole one myself. Only food we really didn't like was the cod--too dry. Desserts were in 2-3 bite portions. I'm a little odd and like *one* bite of *everything* so would have liked even smaller, but for most people it looks perfect. Also, no need to go elsewhere for froyo. They've got their own mini bar. Family friendly, and this location is divided into a few eating 'rooms' so it also doesn't get overly loud. Server was friendly and worked to keep the place as clean as possible despite all the kids.

To start off, my family and I went there to eat dinner a little early on a Saturday around 5 pm. Two adults, one teenager, a 3year old, and a baby $60. Our server was polite, friendly, and helpful . The salad was fresh crisp, and they had many choices. On the other hand, the rest of the food there wasn't much to choose from. I had their lasagna not much taste. Their mashed potatoes hand no taste even with the gravy. They had really good fries and pizza my three year old son liked.. I also had their turkey that was also good, but their roast beef was cold and undercooked. The lady who was slicing the meats would disappear for long periods of times and other customers would ask each other who was working there? Their fried chicken was dry, dry, and how dry? If you seen national lampoon christmas vacation when Clark carves that turkey, THAT DRY! Their dessert bar was really good, and their sweet rolls are great also! Overall, for the price of food and the lack of choices and taste unless to bring in your own seasoning was fair at best.

I’ve heard lots of bad stories and experiences with Chuka-A-Rama buffet and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The total cost for 2 adults on a Friday night was just under $40. This includes their special food which changes daily, access to the standard salad bar and buffet food, drinks, icees, ice cream and loads of desert options! You get to seat yourself which I actually really like and they still have waiters and servers who get you drinks and take your dirty plates! The service I must say was very nice. Everyone seemed happy to be at work and gave off good energy. The food was cooked very well and I had no complaints aside from trying foods I thought I wouldn’t like anyways. The seafood night was delicious. Yummy battered and deep fried fish. Yummy crispy battered prawns with some fries and fry sauce! All in all a great experience with delicious food all at a good budget for a date night! Also great for families. Love the festive decorations put into the restaurant as well!

This place is a joke!!!! Their host has no idea how to seat people. He had he gave a table away to the wrong party twice then the party before us changed their mind for that table. So the host sat us in that table we had requested since the party before us didn’t want said table that we asked for. We needed that table to watch over a $5000 dollar mountain bike out the window. We sat our recipe down on the table went to go get food etc. when we came back another part had sat themselves there, pushed our ticket aside and refused to move. When we got the manager to sort it out he had no idea what the matter was and the other party got up and said she wasn’t moving as their family saved that seat for them. Really then why wasn’t a ticket there. Why was our ticket there and no one was sitting when he gave the table to use The manger offered no solution didn’t hear our concerns and then another man big towering man threatened me because his wife stole our seat. Then manger wanted to sit somewhere not even close to a window to see our bike. Otherwise we would have been happy to sit somewhere else. However we were made to leave when big giant man of a different ethnicity threatened to punch my face out. We were made to leave and then said manager said he’s calling the police to have us removed when we hadn’t eaten anything. We couldn’t have a refund because we were rude of course we are upset with being threatened and having our seat literally stolen from us. When we refused to leave without a refund he finally agreed to refund if we’d just leave which he claimed he refunded to our card . Well dear Manager I don’t know how you could have refunded our card when we paid with CASH!!! So essentially he was being very dishonest about a refund. When we called him out on the false refund he went and got the cash and threw it in our face not even giving in the coins he owed us. Whatever Unfortunately these people want to be paid $20 an hour and can’t even seat people properly kicked us out even though the man threatened to hurt me and caused the noise. This was uncalled for and you all reverse racism exists as the manger kept talking about me to me in Spanish when I am obviously English speaking and he was perfectly able to speak my language he did this on purpose. While raising his voice and point to the door. I visit this location often and have always been pleased with food and service we will never visit there again as they really messed...

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You My wife and I have been Chuck-a-Rama fans for years. We live in Provo and used to eat at the restaurant every Friday until after the pandemic when we noticed, like many other restaurants, that the price was going up, the quality of food going down and the variety of selections getting less. We started going less and eventually, after a few not so good meals, stopped going altogether. It all culminated last Monday when we decided to check it out. We went at 11:30AM. The food was so bad that we swore never to go to Chuck-A-Rama again. When food containers were empty they were not being replaced with fresh food, the desert section looked like it was only filled with the left overs from the weekend, the cheese sauce on the macaroni and cheese was runny like water ,the chocolate milk had no flavor ( our waitress checked it out and didn't know what to say) and worst of all, there were only two flavors of soft ice cream, vanilla and peppermint. We again swore to never eat here again. Then last Friday we were in Draper Christmas shopping and passed your restaurant. We gave in and thank God we did. My wife and I both agreed that it was the best meal we had ever had at a Chuck-A-Rama. All the food was kept fully stocked and everything we ate was delicious. The chocolate milk tasted like chocolate milk, the desert section was full and, again, delicious. And they actually had 4 flavors of soft ice cream. We felt like we were in Chuck-A-Rama heaven as compared to the Hell we had experienced at the beginning of the week. We...

Now, I visited this location on a Sunday evening,so it was busy, however, pleased to report my family of 6 arriving at 6:30 PM had zero wait time, hostess directed us to a dining room 2 minutes after entering building! Now,let's be honest ,I am a stickler on cleanliness, cutting these guys a break, with a packed house they do a pretty efficient job on clearing tables keeping floors picked up & food display classes wiped down & restocked with HOT food. This popular ALL YOU CAN EAT establishment IS NOT the venue to choose if you want a quiet, intimate, relaxing dinner..lol..It is UTAH..lol full of families with lots of kids who marvel & display excitement with EVERY food item, drink & desert they see available to them :) So, noise will be a factor but it's not at the level that the National Guard needs to be deployed..The staff was all delightful, from the cashier ( SENIORS, BE SURE & GET YOUR SENIOR DISCOUNT),the hostess, our waiter who frequently checked back & kept plates removed, the carving hostess was darling as well. This is my favorite location & they are pretty steady & dependable on providing hot, safe foods, great choices & attentive staff! May I recommend the hot, delicious coconut shrimp & sauces, the savory Rice Pudding( rare treat), SELDOM found on menus & of course the rich, smooth homemade carrot cake! In closing, restrooms are spotless & adequate parking including 🦽. Travel safe &...
