Oh man, let me tell you about this place I just tried out - Wasabi Sushi! I'm still drooling just thinking about their custom sushi rolls! This place is the real deal, folks.
First off, let's talk about the sushi itself. All I can say is - wow! The custom sushi rolls they make are truly out of this world! Each roll had a unique blend of ingredients that perfectly complemented each other. They were fresh, flavorful, and each one was visually appealing, like a work of art!
But here's the kicker - you can even create your custom sushi roll - how cool is that? The expert chefs at Wasabi Sushi will craft all the ingredients and flavors that you ask them to add, making your own signature roll, which you can name it, too. It's like having your own sushi-making genie who can whip up your food wish!
Now, let's talk about the speed of service. I was surprised at just how quickly my sushi arrived. Freshness really is key, you know! The chefs worked their magic, and it wasn't long before my custom-made roll was sitting in front of me, just begging to be devoured. And once I took that first bite, well, I was hooked!
But, let's be real; it's not just about the food. The atmosphere is also a crucial factor when it comes to dining experiences, and Wasabi Sushi certainly nailed it! The ambiance was energetic and fun, with a contemporary feel. Their staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Plus, the cleanliness of the establishment was top-notch!
Overall, I have to say that Wasabi Sushi exceeded all my expectations. Their custom sushi rolls are hands down the best I've ever tasted. The atmosphere and service only added to the overall fantastic experience. If you're looking to have a blast of a sushi encounter, then Wasabi Sushi should undoubtedly be on your top...

Wasabi is an incredible anomaly, and I'm incredibly surprised that it hasn't hit my radar as an enjoyer of sushi. The atmosphere is lively, and feels authentic to its original Japanese roots. The employees are nice, and prompt to help you and make sure you're taken care of initially, but as the night got busier they took awhile to get us the bill. That's understandable though!
The sushi was good! My wife and I picked a few rolls (in order of deliciousness: TNT, Hollywood, Crunch Tiger, Elf). Picked them because they all seemed unique to this establishment, and I can say the flavors across the board were delicious and unique in my sushi tasting career. The flavors tasted sophisticated, and had some depth to them. The Wasabi is quite potent and lives up to the restaurant's name! My wife and I definitely recommended the TNT and the Hollywood out of the 4 we tried.
I do think for the atmosphere and the rolls, they are a bit more expensive than they should be (in my opinion), as compared to some of the other unique local sushi restaurants that I like to frequent. Though, for what it's worth I think they have a good offering of flavors and dishes that many will be able to enjoy. I see myself coming back to try more of the menu!

Read moreThe sushi here is absolutely 10/10!!! Officially my favorite sushi place😍 too bad I don’t live in Utah, I’ll have to come back another day.
We were lucky to come on a Tuesday so we got the Tuesday dinner special. I LOVE tempura shrimp so we got the Italian, October, and TNT! TNT is the 🔥 one that came sizzling in the tin foil (I was surprised, I didn’t expect that), and it’s absolutely THE BEST!!! Very worth it to get no matter if you like salmon or not! I love it when sushi came warm/hot so I’m glad they did it perfectly! My husband loved the tuna sashimi as well.
The servers were pretty kind and friendly too! We were gonna get the sea urchin nigiri, but they said what they had wasn’t of good quality, so they couldn’t serve it. At least we appreciated the honesty.
Sadly one of the dishes didn’t look very clean when it was first placed on our table. There were also some lint on the dishes and some sushi, but it just means they’re using new cloth to wipe off their dishes. They voided the price of one of the sushi rolls to make up for that, plus the food was just too good, so it didn’t bother me too much. Absolutely still...
