Spitz- Draper — Restaurant in Draper

In my opinion the best Greek/Mediterranean street fries I have ever had and I love trying new Greek restaurants any time I'm traveling. I ordered them with half sweet potato and half regular fries. I also chose to add the beef and lamb. Earlier when I said it was the best I have had, that was an understatement. When you have a meal where eating it is an experience on its own you can't even describe it, however I will try.

The blend of flavors from the meat to the sauces and other toppings was a perfect flavor explosion in my mouth. The sweet potato fries were waffle fries and both them and the regular fries were cooked to crispy perfection.

Normally when ordering this type of dish I will eat all the meat, veggies and other toppings and most of the fries leaving a few stragglers behind. This was not the case this time. The sauces and toppings were so well distributed and the texture of the fries and the overall flavor was so complex and delicious that even though I had eaten to full, I could not stop myself from consuming every last crumb.

The service was quick and the staff were friendly. I probably had a total of 15-20 minutes of conversation with a very nice lady who worked there.

Overall an amazing experience and ruined me on other Greek restaurants.

This review was at the draper location, but now I want to try every location to see if they are consistent or if I need to make the trek to Draper next time I get a hankering for street fries.

If you love Greek food you would be doing yourself a huge disservice by not experiencing Spitz. Amazing flavor and service in a fast casual setting.

This is my favorite place to eat. One time I had a pick up order and the employee handed me a bag of food. I thought that it was heavy, but I figured he knew what he was doing and I took it home. When I got home I discovered that I actually had an order for an individual named Sandy. Sandy ordered a lot more food than I ordered. I called the restaurant to tell them that I had Sandy’s order and not mine and they apologized and credited my account for the order and offered to remake the food for me. I felt bad for Sandy and they said they would start making her food again before she got there because I had her food and she was still coming. I asked them what I should do with Sandy’s food and they said I could eat it. I opened the bag and found four entrees and three sides. At this time my wife and kids were visiting family in California and so I was the only one home. I am not proud of what happened next, but it happened and I feel like I need to write about it to stop feeling guilty about it and move on. I ate all of the food. I don’t know how it happened but by midnight it was all gone. I ate so much food that I woke up the next day (a Saturday) at 11:00 AM and wasn’t the slightest but hungry. I knew it was wrong for a grown man to eat an entire dinner party’s worth of Mediterranean street food but I didn’t care I just kept eating like a starving animal. It was really something. Came here for the first time for my son's birthday dinner. Starting off I will say the menu is kind of confusing. Once I figured it out the server was amazing at answering all my questions. Here is what we ordered; a 12-piece chicken wing, with Zhoug (Hot) and Habanero (Very Hot) sauces. They were cooked perfectly, and both sauces were very flavorful. That being said they were not hot, just warm. 1 Street Cart Fries - probably my favorite fires to this date. They had a great melody of Greekness to them, even some olives. I could not get enough of them. 1 Side Greek Salad - Veggies were fresh and on point as salads go. 1 Doner Salad - This was probably the least of my likes for the night, but still a great salad. 1 Street Cart Wrap 1 Berliner 1 Street Greek Gyro Combo 1 Side Waffle Cut Sweet Potato Fires

All in all, the dinner was fantastic, and I highly recommend to anyone. I never would have gone here had it not been for my son. Our service was amazing, and she added to our fun by letting us choose some games to play while we were there. This is an added treat.
