We ordered from the app while we were en route. The estimated wait time was about 30 min. When we arrived 5 min later, we were happy to sit down and wait. We received a text message within 2 min of arriving saying the order was ready. My wife went up the register (no line) and the girl behind the counter was very rude and told her, with attitude, she would have to wait. My wife said that was totally fine and asked to purchase a drink while she was waiting. The girl again, very rudely, told her she would have to wait. So my wife stood there, waiting. The girl eventually just handed her a cup and said she would take care of it later. We received our food and a lot of the ragoons didn’t have cream cheese. After bringing this to their attention, the same girl did replace the ragoons, but it was very obvious she wasn’t happy about it. I asked for an extra to-go box so we could distribute food between our kids and she said she couldn’t do that, she could give me a bag instead. We have never, at any visit to any Panda Express, been told we couldn’t have a to-go box. I said I wasn’t leaving without an extra box. She finally gave me one.
We didn’t catch her name, but this girl was intentionally very rude to us. I worked in restaurant management for 15+ years, so I understand having bad days, training new employees, mistakes happen, etc. but there is no need for rudeness. Wearing a mask for just 2 minutes sends his heart into atrial fibrillation, a legit medical condition. We stopped at Panda Express tonight on the way home. We were inside and had already ordered one plate, which had been dished up when the employee looked up and asked my husband to put on a mask. He explained he couldn't wear one. The employees all stopped working, trying to figure out how to handle the situation, taking steps back from him. They were behind plexiglass with masks on themselves. They decided amongst themselves that he needed to stand by the door so he would be 15 ft away from them. They didn't allow him to look at the food to determine what he wanted to eat. They treated him like a second class citizen. I left immediately, but I know they won't think twice about their poor customer service. If they would have continued working, we would have been out sooner than with the scene they made. We are responsible and would not have gone out of the house of either of us were sick. Read moreThis Panda Express location is pretty good. Everytime I go in and order food they seem to have everything fresh, the food is stocked up (so no wait time) and the customer service is amazing! I love how the coworkers are always so helpful and seem to be happy and actually smile at the customers. Great customer service! Now I have noticed the food portions that they give are rather small compared to other Panda Express locations. BUT I am a person who prefers quality over quantity. So I'm willing to overlook it. The lobby is clean inside Everytime I go in but man.. is it freaking cold. Even in the Summer time. Especially in the winter! I've noticed its always empty inside and nobody is eating inside which makes me think that might be one of the reasons. Because it's so cold to the point where it makes it unbearable to be in there. That's the only thing I will say. Everything else is good 👍 so would I recommend this place? 100% yes! Go.. give it a try don't expect big portions but you'll definitely get a yummy flavorful meal.
