Okay, I know what you're thinking. This is a review for Big Hole. What are you doing raving about Peak Printing and their magnificent, high quality prints of your friend looking very full, holding two empty plates? But before I can tell you that story, I have to tell you this story.
So there we are, ordering a moderately late breakfast at our local Biggest Hole. My buddy Dakota is feeling extra hungry this morning and, of course, particularly ambitious. Dakota decides on some fancy combo breakfast IN ADDITION TO an order of pancakes. "But sir," the waitress stammered, clearly in panic mode. "Nobody's ever finished the pancakes here before." While the nervousness in her voice certainly seemed authentic, something about the look in her eyes told us that this might not quite be the entire truth about what exactly goes on here at Big Hole. There we were, on a leisurely vacation within view of the Grand Tetons, trying to stop our friend Jared from getting morning drunk and before even ordering breakfast we already had a mystery on our hands.
Well, not to be undone nor told how to live his breakfast life, Dakota doubled down on his order and not only ordered the combo, but also the pancake stack--and when they came, he completely destroyed them both. Truly, it was a sight to behold. Watching Dakota perform this breakfast miracle was nothing short of life changing. I may not remember how my breakfast tasted that day, but I certainly remember how I felt watching this early morning wonder.
Well, after a quick run to the local print shop (who did an all-star job, by the way) for pictures of Dakota to sign, we headed back to Big Hole and presented the owners with the first man to complete their presumably newly invented breakfast challenge. In gratitude and in awe, they accepted this memory in printed form and legend has it the photo still hangs there to this day.
Truly, if I learned anything from my experience at this particular Big Hole, it's this: my good friend Dakota is not just a big eater. He's an artist. Almost gave 4 out of 5 stars because of the mysterious deceit from the mouth of our waitress. But let's be real. It's not every day you get to experience a miracle...
Read moreThis was a cute bistro with a grab and go section and a indoor dining area that had about 7-8 tables inside and an outdoor patio as well. We dined on a Sunday in late morning sound 10am ish where they had just been sat multiple tables in a short amount a time. They handled the rush well; back of house appeared busy but not overwhelmed. Servers were super friendly; I would just recommend continue working on steps of service to make their life a little easier. Most decent people will understand a little delay, but topping off beverages and communicating a minimal delay to allow the kitchen to get caught up is more than okay :)
Food was delicious! Homestyle fries, omelet, and bagel were on point! Would definitely recommend this place to others!
One recommendation by my husband, who is a food consultant, would be investing in a panini press to offer the option to have your lunch...
Read moreCute little spot for Breakfast/Coffee. We stopped here on our way to Jackson Hole for breakfast as most other places around town were closed due to Memorial Day .They already had a long line out their front door and were trying their best to attend everyone within a reasonable time . Ours was a big party of 8 and they had our food out within 15 minutes of ordering . The bagels looked fresh when we ordered them however they did burn them while toasting .Also , had the fruit cups and yoghurt cups which all tasted fresh .Coffee was good and the pricing is reasonable .The outdoor patio looked very inviting and felt like a good spot for a lazy brunch/Breakfast . The staff was friendly and was trying their best to give everyone a...
