Most Chinese takeouts are a three-star establishments, and this is no exception. I've had my share of Chinese American takeout over the years and only a select few got a four-star, and only one or two ever got five. Food sits under heat lamps here so I recommend going there between 11:45 am and 12:45 p.m. I went in at around 12:30 so what I saw was perhaps the best they can do. Now to the description of my experience. This place is inexpensive like most of them, but portion sizes are below average. No water was offered. The chicken Kung Pao had too much breading and mostly onion, celery with one solitary piece of bell pepper. Okay I understand that peppers are more expensive, but I wish that instead of cutting corners this way they would charge an extra dollar and make a more balanced dish. There was only one long dry chili and no peanuts in the dish. Their chow mien and fried rice were flavorless. They also charge a $0.50 to use your credit card on top of everything else We'll have to continue to go to...
Read moreJan. 23, 2024. 4 pm. Well my first time here. Awful. Just awful. I was excited to try the BBQ pork. Over cooked probably for days. I cook my pork with the Chinese pink marinade, that they use and it’s Delicious. I buy it at Smart & Final. I don’t over cook it for days. It’s too bad they do this. They know they will get a bad review but the owners do it anyway. Do not buy. Very tough. Like shoe leather. Why not cook a little at a time and not over cook? I am shocked they do this, wanting a bad review. So I also asked for Chicken & Green beans. I got 3 small bites of chicken. I even said to the young girl I want some chicken, not all green beans so I thought she would respect me by adding more than 3 small pieces of chicken. She did not. She did not respect me. SO…..a big fat ZERO. SO….$11.00 for rice, green beans, 3 bites of chicken and maybe 3 bites of over cooked pork. Don’t do it people. Go...
Read moreGood for a quick bite this was a year or two ago. I was there 10-30-2021 and was very disappointed their prices have gone up yes but the worse thing is that they overcharge you need to check your receipt the gentleman that works there is not only rude but charge me 3 dollars extra this and has charged me extra previously. When I asked him for the receipt to confirm he said No, no receipt and started speaking Chinese to the lady there. I paid almost $20 for a one entree item which is $6.98 and a soup which is 8.39 the amount is not huge yes granted but they this often as I was leaving someone that heard me tell the guy that he overcharged said they always do but it’s cheap food. That’s not right for them to do that if they need to raise the prices to make more money they should not charge people...
