Centre Stage: A True Home for Aspiring Performers and Families From the moment we stepped through the doors of Centre Stage, we knew we had found something special. Our daughter joined mid-fall, and we were immediately struck by how welcoming and quickly accepted she was into the Centre Stage family. It's a testament to the incredibly warm and inclusive atmosphere they've cultivated. At the heart of this warmth is Keely, whose kindness and genuine nature shine through in every interaction. She, along with the entire team, truly fosters a family environment that is both nurturing and inspiring. This approach is so contagious that it quickly drew us in, and we found ourselves eager to become more involved and lend a hand wherever we could. Our daughter has especially thrived under the loving and caring guidance of Berlin. It’s incredibly reassuring to see the genuine connection and care she receives. What's even more remarkable is seeing an entire family behind the company, all working together with a shared passion. This deep-rooted commitment extends to the community itself, as the owners are lifelong Monrovians. We absolutely love their strong ties to our community, and it's evident in how much they give back. Centre Stage truly embodies the small-town vibe we dreamed of for our children, where we are all genuinely a community. We are so happy to have found an environment where we know our child will make lifelong friends. Beyond the incredible leadership, the entire staff contributes to this magical experience. We thoroughly enjoy Kim’s humor and enthusiasm, which brightens every day. Romel's talent is undeniable, and his ability to make students laugh creates such a joyful learning environment. Ms. Sam’s kind disposition is a constant source of comfort, while Ms. Alex’s encouragement empowers the students to reach for their best. And Mr. Marcus’s spirit is simply infectious! Centre Stage is providing our daughter with so much more than just an opportunity to perform. It's giving her a safe and supportive space to express herself and find her true self. It's a creative outlet that helps her regulate her emotions in other aspects of her life. Centre Stage genuinely makes her happy, and we can already see how it’s going to give her purpose. We truly can't wait for Centre Stage to be our forever...

I was a student at Centre Stage in my tween and teen years. I took voice, dance, and was in a performance troupe. It was one of the highlights of my childhood and I took the lessons I learned at Centre Stage into adulthood with me. Without Keely and the Centre Stage family, I don’t know that I would have become who I was meant to be. I am now a nationally recognized author, motivational speaker, social media presence, and I’ve even recorded my own album. Centre Stage left a lasting impression on me. I thought I was learning how to sing and dance but really I was learning how to unabashedly and unapologetically be myself.

For all of these reasons I have enrolled my own children in Summer Camp this year and I already see the positive affect it’s having on all three of them. More confidence, more discipline, forming friendships, and learning how to take instruction along with a bit of corrective criticism.

My children are my greatest treasure and I am very protective over who I allow to influence them. The teachers and staff at Centre Stage are some of the best human beings I’ve ever met. Kind, selfless, gentle, and wise— your children won’t just be receiving instruction on how to perform their part in a musical, belt the best solo, or perfect a time step but they’ll be valued. They’ll be seen. They’ll be listened to. They'll be loved.

I am sitting here in quarantine, July 2020 so compelled to jump on here and write a quick review for Keely Milliken and Centre Stage Monrovia! During such a time as this my girls have needed their theater community more than ever! One would think that that wouldn’t be available with all of the shut downs. But Keely took it to another level! Not only have we stayed connected and consistent with their theater group she has really raised the bar! My girls are experiencing things that would have never been possible had it not been for lockdown. They are having master classes with people on Broadway, former Centre Stage students, directors in our area the list goes on and on not to mention they are still going to produce a show created all at home and put together by the amazing unparalleled Center Stage staff!!!! I cannot scream from the rooftops loud enough why you should have your children involved with this group! My girls’ best friends were made here, my girls’ visions for the future in theatre were made here, and my girls’ self-esteem & confidence is being fostered here! Run don’t walk to...
