Biryaniz — Restaurant in Dublin

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the mutton biryani I picked up today around 8:40 PM, as per your confirmation. You assured me that the item was available and would be ready in 30 minutes. I trusted that — as any biryani lover would — and came to collect it on time.

But when I opened the box, I was shocked. What I received was a pile of rice with four or five bones — barely any actual mutton, and certainly nothing close to what a proper mutton biryani should be. It felt like leftovers had been thrown together just to complete the order.

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, which makes it even more frustrating. If an item is unavailable, I would much rather hear a simple, honest “Sorry, we’re out” than be handed a box that looks like it was scraped together from the bottom of a pot.

It’s not just about the money — it’s about trust, quality, and basic respect for the customer’s time and expectations. I hope you seriously reflect on this feedback and take steps to ensure that this doesn’t...

I ordered food through ubereats, and whole family is waiting for food. 30 minutes later, I checked yo see, and it was cancelled by restaurant. I called the restaurant, the manager (I asked for manager, he said he is the manager). They cancelled the order because they did not have one item. I order regularly from this place, the manager does not even feel apologetic that we are hungry, and now I have to scramble to make other arrangements to get food tonight. Not cool. In the past restaurant used to call us to change the order. I asked the guy if they have my contact info, and I asked why did they not call me. The managers answer is we cancelled Uber it should have notified me. Very unhappy about lack of respect for repeat customer.

Updated: Spoke to owner, and he acknowledged that it was a mistake. Hoping to have better experience in the future. Food is good here, but a bit spicy if you are not used...

It’s not a super fancy restaurant. But it’s our go to. We drive from San Jose all the way up to Dublin to have dinner here when we’re craving Biryani. It was an unexpected find 3 yrs ago. We’ve been ordering our catering for the past 3 yrs. The quality still remains the same. Praveen is awesome to work with. Super friendly and helpful. He works with us to create the menu we need for each party.

There is always a line for pickup. That says a lot! Praveen and team handle the orders in and out as fast as they can. I’ve never waited for more than 15 minutes.

We normally order the special biryani (mild) , Vijaywada chicken biryani (med spicy) and veg biryani. All of them are so tasty.
