Burger King — Restaurant in Dubuque

The restaurant was remodeled semi-recently but you really can't tell. The floor was dingy, table was sticky and a younger female employee literally slammed a "Caution Wet Floor" tower against our booth as if to give us a hint as to what she wanted to do. Let me preface that by saying that there were TWO other people in the restaurant, it wasn't like they were packed and we were in the way.

She mopped by our table and literally my shoes at the same time. I kid you not, she mopped under the table while we were sitting at it and subsequently mopped my shoes in the process.

The food was fair, and despite the fact that another person that was leaving as we were ordering mentioned that the Coke machine was out of vanilla and cherry flavor, they never refilled it. The staff was as inattentive as a box of frozen chicken, and...

We've ordered through the app several times and every time use the app, our order is NEVER right. NEVER. WE'D either get cold food when they driver is supposed to be only 30 minutes (but come an hour) or we pay for our order and only get half of the order or it's downgraded. This isn't the only place that does this but almost every fast food restaurant here in town that uses Grub Hub or Door Dash or Eat Street has orders that are entirely wrong. It is the fault of the drivers. The fault lies in the unprofessional staff that is working during the times we order. We may have gotten ONE order right and maybe because their manager was there and ensured they wouldn't mess up an order. The service here in town in many fast food restaurants are below standard. I have mixed feelings about this one... While the staff is courteous (why I am giving them 4 stars) I do kinda feel like the place needs to be cleaned a bit better. I always see smudges on things and some of the staff could do with some self image presentation (tuck back those fly aways) to appear cleaner, and maybe it's just the dark faux wood (It's dark inside even though there's lighting) but I just don't feel really clean when I'm there. For myself, working in an industry where your image is a factor, I do take that into account that a lot of (not all) thier staff needs to tidy themselves up.
