My friend had been going to Salas's for over 10 years, and we were looking forward to returning to a favorite restaurant. During a very loud lunch time, a party of 9 that was over the top. Service? Definitely need to hire seasoned waiters and waitresses. Especially if you have a busy restaurant, turning tables should be a top priority. As far as the menu, had a decent selection of entrees. But THAT was the only good thing. I ordered a Chicken taco salad and my friend ordered Steak fajitas . My taco salad was less than 1/2 full. I have no idea why my taco salad had a layer of sautéed onions on the bottom of the salad. Then maybe two handfuls of lettuce. Again, the lettuce was a little less than half full. Oh, and my "chicken" was 5 or 6 small pieces of chicken. Small, meaning smaller than a dime! My friend ordered the steak fajitas came out on a piece of aluminum foil laid on top of a supposedly sizzling platter. No sizzling. His serving size? 1/3 of the piece of aluminum foil. NO grilled vegetables. Server was busy and nit that busy, that he couldn't stop to check in with us. Those 2 "entrees" and 2 sodas was over $40! The serving sizes were more for a child. This was a frustrating visit because we knew how good the service and food used to be. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Unfortunately, we...
Read moreThe newly renovated Las Margaritas is PERFECT! Clean, classy, comfortable. With all the charm of family, Christian has outdone himself with a fantastic menu, incorporating family recipes alongside community classics from the days of Salsas.
The Salsa and Queso hits the spot while you await any one of the dozens of delicious dishes they have in store for you.
I had the Arroz Con Pollo and she had the Fajita Quesadilla Grande with chicken. Both cooked to perfection, portions so large we could not possibly eat it all in one sitting. The prices are an incredible deal for the quality coming out of the kitchen.
The servers were friendly and attentive and took our orders down while repeating them back to us, which always brings a little peace of mind when we’re making minor modifications to the order.
Good music, great staff, relaxing ambiance with a subtle hint that a fiesta may break out at any moment. We will be making Las Margaritas a staple of our lunches and dinners out on the...
Read moreThe service and people there were nice and friendly but the food quality was off and so was the taste. I love authentic Mexican but I ordered the birria tacos and it was mostly fat and barely any meat, barely any seasoning on the food and the consome was in a 1oz cup for 3 tacos. They charged 22 for those 3 tacos. My husband got the queso fajita and that was another 22 and it was barely seasoned and just wasn’t very good. My husband and I had gone there almost every week when it was Salsa’s and we tried to not compare but the food is overpriced and low quality. Drinks...
