Fischer Lanes & Lounge — Local services in Dubuque

Im visiting home for the holidays.. Decided to go to Fischer Bowling lanes.. NEVER again.. They have the worst customer service I have met.. It took 1hr and 45min to bowl 2 games with 3 people.. the balls kept getting stuck after every frame, the kids there were to busy talking to girls to pay attention, after bowling we went up to the desk to return our shoes and some rude older man and female said to us what do you want us to do? They were so rude.. They basically said it was OUR fault the balls got stuck in THEIR lanes.. WTF..I told them I would be writing on trip advisor etc.. all they said is do what you need...

Called to ask about open bowling and were told it was open until 6pm. Arrived at 430 to bowl a few games and were told they were actually closing at 5 and we could only bowl one game. Not worth the trip down and paying for shoes for just one game which is why we called. They could have at least offered to comp the shoes since they told us incorrectly on the phone. We went to Fischer Lanes in-between games for hockey. The staff was wonderful!!! They even had a sharpie to write the kid's names on their cups (it's the little things) and they were very patient with getting everyone into the computer. They have frozen pizza, vending machines, and beer. Keeping it simple and easy is the best for team gatherings. Thank you Fischer Lanes for...
