Taco John's — Restaurant in Duluth

Went through the drive through.... they had a trainee at the window. The order wasn’t right, not sure if it was the car behind me or if it was punched in wrong. No biggie, everyone has to learn. Another gentleman came to the window and told me he would ring me up and took my card and walked to where I would guess was the front register. He give me my card back and we are handed our drinks and get asked to drive forward and park for our food!!! Again, no biggie mistakes happen! After waiting for a short while we are given our food, drive home and one of them isn’t even the right order. I call the store to see if we can make it right and Josh answers the phone. He remembers what numbers we ordered and I explain to him that it’s not the right food and it’s not even chicken and what we have is beef.....Josh says oh well that’s a number five you ordered just not chicken. I reiterate that it is not even a number five it’s something else and it’s beef instead of chicken.....and his response is “oh strange”. After a long awkward pause it was very clear he didn’t see anything wrong with the situation..... so,I tell him well it’s obvious that you don’t really seem to feel it’s an issue or care, I guess have a nice day...... we are all human and I can understand some mistakes.... sometimes a simply apology and an offer to fix it goes a long way!!! Poor...

Just came back from a funeral and completely broke so wanted the $1 taco deal. Cool. Immediately greeted with AI who got my order wrong twice so I came back around and was already in tears at this point. I’m then connected to an employee who immediately started speaking to me extremely rudely through the drive through, extremely disrespectfully with an attitude. They were extremely short, and then completely cut themselves off from the intercom after I tried to ask a follow up question about the product. I was trying to order tacos from the BANNER THAT IS OUTSIDE the restaurant. They cut me off immediately. I’m hungry, haven’t eaten in two days, and tired. this is my last straw here. I have and still do work in fast food and this behavior is absolutely unacceptable and abnormal. I get that your job is difficult but so is all of our lives. I hope no one else has to...

I wish there was something worse than 1 star. This is literally the worst food I have ever eaten. I also made the mistake of going to one in Kansas & it was awful as well. Taco Bell is a 5 star experience next to this place. I would eat Taco Bell every day for the rest of my life before I ever eat at a Taco Johns ever again. How is this place in business? There is no way this chain exists on the "food" they're serving. The FBI should investigate this place as a money laundering operation because there is no way they exist as a restaurant. Who serves fried, greasy, oversalted tater tots with tacos? I don't write many reviews except for extraordinary circumstances. If I can save at least 1 person from this place it was...
