If you love Jamaican food, or have always wanted to try it, you MUST give this place a try!!!
TLDR: Great price, very clean, filling and affordable! The decor leaves something to be desired, and menus are paper for now until they get them uploaded to the TV's.
I came here for a lunch deal with my sister; I got the jerk chicken with cabbage, rice and beans, and she got the same sides with curry chicken. I also had some Jamaican beef patties and coco bread the day before (yummy, crispy classic). The frontman was quite pleasant, and it was a great deal - we spent less than 20 dollars for both of us to eat authentic Jamaican!! (around 7 dollars per person with a drink.)
The trays of food are all kept super clean. One of the girls from the back dropped a spoon and immediately went to the back to put it in the sink. Patties are kept warm up front in a clean, hot warmer and the frontman always wears gloves when packing food (or uses tongs). I love a restaurant that pays special attention to detail so this was a huge deal for me!!
THE FOOD! Y'all. I have never had jerk chicken (I'm a beef patty girl!), and every bite was absolutely delectable. The cabbage was cooked perfectly, not too soggy and not too firm. The red beans and rice tasted so fresh; It was also cooked to perfection and very clear that not one dish in my entree was cooked from frozen! We got small portions, and I was so full I couldn't finish my rice. I can only imagine what their large size entails.
I forgot to snap some photos this time but will surely be back to get some and try...

Tried my boyfriend's Brown stew chicken and it was just off. I've grown up eating these foods and I can't tell you what they put in the season but I've never tasted anything like it before and that's not a good thing. It looked like an attempt at Curry chicken.
If you want authentic food, this is not it. Should've just...
Read moreThis restaurant is seriously a hidden gem. The ambience of this restaurant alone made me wanna stay. The music was not too loud, the decor was really inviting. Now I am really particular about my curry chicken, but this was seriously the best curry chicken I've ever tasted. The food was perfectly spiced, succulent and so delicious. This is a no brainier must visit. It's a shame I don't live in Atlanta cos this would be my everyday go to place. And the owner was so lovely, something that is rare with restaurants...
