This is strictly for the bakery: Ohh my goooosh! How did I pass by here for the last 5 years and never stopped in! Well, I'm kind of glad I didn't, because it's all so delicious and now I'm doomed... The cream filled Concha is amazing, the sugared doughnut airy, fresh, not to sweet and so much better than anything you can get around here. The Bavarian cream empanada was something totally different and really good as well. The vanilla pudding (Bavarian cream?) filled dough horn tasted super fresh, with lots of filling! But there was this sugared bread/roll/cake like thing, that was just so moist and fluffy on the inside and crunchy and sugared on the outside and it was different to anything I have ever tasted! Having that with some tea or coffee to dip or some whipped cream to spread on?! Amazing! I'll be back...

Fresh village market in Carpentersville where I shop at.Because this store is always clean and well maintained. It makes for a pleasant shopping experience.There produce and meats etc are far above the rest and there prices are lower then most stores. Let’s not forget there hot cooked food. Especially there vegetable tamales.As mr foods would say. Its oh so good ! The reason is because they take pride in what they do and everything is made fresh everyday. Very good place to shop for all your Hispanic food choices! Always have everything that you may need to cook up a nice Spanish meal, or what other kind of cuisine that you may be cooking! Fresh food here for a quick meal at home. The food is really good! The only thing that this place needs to do is get some of there produce up to par. But other than that, awesome place to shop!
