Farmer's Basket — Restaurant in Dunwoody

This is absolutely my favorite place in Perimeter Mall. Food is always delicious, hot and fresh. I typically get jalapeno chicken or shrimp mixed with charbroiled chicken to cut the heat from the jalapenos. Paired with sweet potatoes and the mixed zucchini, cabbage, green bean offering and it never disappoints! The jalapeno juice mixes with the sweet potato juice and it's fire! The meat is always juicy, well seasoned - hot, and tasty. I love the simple flavor of the sweet potatoes, just potatoes, sugar and a little cinnamon. The veggie mix is better than any of the individual veggies I've tried here. Tender, flavorful and never over salted. I found what I like from this place and I don't typically switch it up but I have in the past tried some of their other offerings, such as the lo mein noodles, broccoli , green beans, and Mac and cheese. Horrible! It irritated my stomach. I ordered the round fried chicken nuggets. I tasted a hot fresh sample which was delicious but once I ordered, I was giving fresh and old chicken which is very deceiving to customers. I got a stomach virus from eating the food. Please asked them to freshly cooked your order. The darker chicken is old. If they pick through the chicken to give you certain pieces that mean they are giving you some old chicken and some fresh hot chicken. I knew something was wrong because she was picking through the chicken and selecting certain pieces to give me. You ladies should be ashamed. You are giving customers old left over...

Ordered lunch from here with my coworkers. Those of us who got the honey bourbon chicken were overly disappointed. I nearly choked on the chicken. It was so hard and dried out. Taste like it had been cooked yesterday. The green beans were disgusting as well. Old and dried out. Then they had the nerve to pile it up on the plate, trying to get rid of it. The orange chicken was good. Thank God my coworker chose that as my second meat. The rest of it went straight to the Garbage. Just where it belonged. I will never it...
