We stayed at this hotel for a convention during March 7th-9th. The convention also happened to fall on my partner's birthday. It was by far the best experience I've had with a hotel since moving to Georgia. From checking in we were greeted by an amazing front desk staff, Tram/n(sp?), was the employee checking us in and she was phenomenal. Answered all of our questions and made sure to accommodate us close to the elevator and the lowest floor for mobility reasons. We also had an amazing experience with Oscar on the 9th, he allowed me to go back to the floor I stayed on to locate my water bottle. It was an urgent thing to lose and Oscar had no issues helping me out so I could check for my item, which was right in front of the room. I'm grateful for their attention to detail and level of care/professionalism.
We went to the bars a couple of times and we met on Saturday night Michael and he had the best energy and vibe. They were slammed at the bar but him and his fellow bartender did a great job handling the flow of everything and the needy customers. He served me perfectly and was able to help advise me on a good spirit for my partner. I wish I could've tipped him more! Funnily enough, he was our host the following morning at the buffet. So not only did he give amazing service and energy each time but he had worked the night prior to the morning after, very impressive work ethic and persona! He definitely deserves a raise ✨
We also had great experience with Roger at the downstairs bar before going home Sunday night. He offered us a chill space to chat and celebrate the night of my partners birthday. He took very good care of us and was the perfect send off for the weekend.
The buffet breakfast was a nice option that we had bought with our room via a third party site. The food was fresh and good. Absolutely necessary for the busy days. We ended up getting free dessert the morning of his birthday which was very sweet of them to do.
The final amazing experience was the interactions with the drivers at the concierge. Brent gave us the perfect info on how to use the shuttle for dinner on Sunday. He was also rather funny and filled with charisma which I enjoyed interacting with. We then were introduced to Moses as our driver for the evening. He was driving us to my partners birthday dinner and gave us just such an amazing experience. He chatted with us and kept telling my partner happy birthday. I felt very comfortable and filled with warmth seeing my partner treated so special during the drive. Moses helped keep it a surprise right until we pulled up. It was a very wholesome experience. We called shortly after finishing our meal and Moses was there in no time. I also wish I could've tipped him more!
All in all, this hotel surpassed our expectations and provided us a perfect weekend for a very special occasion. We will happily come back anytime and we are Georgia local too! I couldn't recommend this location or this staff enough to...
Read moreSub par and this is being generous . No way I would stay at this place of my own choosing . I have written multiple comments below I don't know what is important to you but this place is a dump in hiding . The rooms are in terrible condition , my room looked like it has not been updated in years . Everything seemed as if it were surface cleaned but all along the edges it was dirty, chipped paint , poor quality joints , cheap in every way except the pricing which Is less on paper . Until you check in and out you have no idea what they are going to charge you. Just because you got a price that seems like a good rate it is not true . Crazy the charges on top of your bill you cannot check in unless they place a hold on your card . Then you find out that the charge they already took out somehow is equal to the amount they place on hold . It doesn't end there. There are charges I still don't understand and they don't explain it to you . They just keep taking money . If I were in the corporate office I would fire the GM and start over . There is a pervasive lack of standards , I don't blame the staff I blame management and the managers above them . How could anyone walk through that hotel and not notice all the problems ? I wasn't expecting much and somehow they failed any way . I am sure that this review will be blamed on the Guest not the poor sub par money grubbing scam you call a hotel . What in the world is going on that you need police with flashing lights on at night . I don't know what else to say other than pay a little more and go somewhere else in the end you will pay less anyway. I would not stay in this hotel again if they paid me to. So weird because some of the food was good and prepared perfectly. So at least banquets is trying but I hate to say that this was spotty at best . I don't know how you got the ratings you did because you sure don't deserve them . Some might think I am being rough or unfair and they may even use the direct nature of my rating as a way to avoid the truth . I was stunned it was like a fancy version of a spring break motel . Even the pool looked like there were rust stains and the water was so cloudy. I would not step a foot into that pool . I don't know what happened but this place is an over priced mess . They lure clients into booking for conventions then they screw over all the guests associated with said convention . Such a strange hotel I am not blaming the host of the conference . If you are trying to set up a meeting in Atlanta skip this place no matter how good the price might seem . If they do not care about the standards in this hotel what else do they not care about that we don't know...
Read moreI've traveled to Atlanta several times, and each time, I’ve chosen to stay at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravina—and for good reason. What initially brought me here were the glowing reviews, and now, after multiple visits, I can confidently say the praise is well deserved.
The hotel has a modern yet upscale vibe that immediately makes you feel welcome. The interior is bright, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully laid out. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and absolutely worth the price.
But the real showstopper for me? The outdoor area in the back. As a self-proclaimed “Plant Lady,” I was completely in love. The landscaping is stunning, with peaceful walking paths, cozy seating areas, and serene views that make it feel like a hidden oasis. It’s especially beautiful at night when the entire space is softly lit—truly magical.
Now, let me share a more recent experience that made me appreciate this hotel on an even deeper level.
During my most recent stay this past weekend, my family and I arrived late in the evening. Upon settling in, I noticed the bathtub wasn’t up to the hotel’s usual standards—it was not clean. Naturally, I was irritated and called the front desk to report the issue.
What happened next truly impressed me.
The person who answered the phone immediately apologized and offered a solution so promptly and professionally that I didn’t even have time to remain upset. His tone, empathy, and swift action completely shifted my mood during what had already been a stressful day. Though I was initially unsure about the proposed solution, his kindness and professionalism won me over.
It wasn’t until later that I found out I had been speaking with Tyler Forsyth, the Guest Relations Manager. His humility and compassion left a lasting impression, and I’m genuinely thankful for his support. Crowne Plaza is lucky to have such a gem on their team.
Also, a shoutout to Bret—he was fantastic as well!
This hotel continues to exceed my expectations—not just with its beautiful design and atmosphere, but with the people who make the experience truly special. I’ll...
