Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams — Restaurant in Dunwoody

Two words to describe the flavors - Delicious and Refreshing!

The line was long in the evening and we had to come back at 11 PM so that there was less crowd but even then it took us some time.

The place has a fun vibe and outdoor seating as well.

Ice-cream review:

a) Brambleberry Crisp: I had heard about Brambleberry Crisp and wanted to try it. Initially, I did not like it but as you give in to it, you start loving it and I could see why people love it.

b) Burnt Orange Dreamsicle: This was my favorite of the lot. If you are a fan of orange, this is a must-try.

c) Snowcone: People who love shaved ice would go gaga over it. It was so good that it did not feel like an ice cream but felt like eating shaved ice. I personally, was not a fan.

My wife tried the other 3 flavors - Salted Peanut Butter, Darkest Chocolate, and Honey Vanilla Beans and they all lived up to the expectations.

The Good:

1. Our server Emily was great and helped us graciously with flavor testing and suggestions
2. They have amazing flavors My recommendation would be Burnt Orange Dreamsicle and Brambleberry Crisp in that order and Snowcone for fans of shaved ice.
3. Also, definitely order a Waffle, they are fresh and they hold a lot more ice cream :)
4. The place has a cool casual vibe.
5. If you are a fan of Jeni's they have a lot of merch available not just t-shirts.

Overall, definitely coming back here for another...

Hands down - amazing ice cream.

After dining at a nearby restaurant I knew that I was headed to Jenni’s for dessert! I have been to the location off of Howell mill road, as well as the location in the battery. I say that to say, I already knew this would satisfy my taste buds!

There was only one person in front of me when I arrived on a Saturday.I realize I lucked up! jeni’s is typically a pretty popular spot. I felt more comfortable trying diffent flavors since there were no patrons behind me in line. I think I tried a total of 3. The staff was so patient with me and kept a smile on her face during our interaction.

I opted for the pistachio macaroon flavor in a kids size. I should not be eating ice cream ( I am lactose intolerant). This is my way of having what I want, but not making my belly too upset. At least it’s the rationale I told myself! As I expected - every bite was amazing! You even get a little piece of the waffle cone with the kids size— it was perfect!!

Sooo. I LOVE Jenis but this experience was not good. We (7 of us) waiting in line normal at around 10:30 tonight. The line was long and there were two employees (one with glasses and the order not) we were patient and started ordering… I ordered 2 scoops in a bowl. Usually they come with a little waffle piece and mine didn’t have one. So we asked and this is the response we got…”we don’t have time to make any, do you see how long the line is…is we made waffles no one would get served, do you even think!” she then proceed to the back and continued complaining loudly. We got our ice cream from the other server who was very lovely and apologized for her coworker,we went outside.
