Feeling let down. I was in the mood for Pad Thai after the day I had. I read some pretty good reviews and responses from the business, so I called from the gas station and ordered pick up. Pad Thai w/fried tofu and a fried veggie roll. Ordering was fine. When I got there I wasn't greeted and the cashier was very inattentive and mumbled at me while staring at the register. Based on the counter service I wasn't inclined to tip, but I rounded up to the dollar anyways. After I paid with my card he took out his wallet and started putting money in the register. It felt very odd. The Pad Thai was just fine but really lacked flavor. The fried tofu seemed like it was just fried on a wet griddle with no seasoning at all. Same with the eggs. Noodles were cooked fine, but without much flavor in the sauce, and no spice, it was difficult to eat. I would have a hard time returning. I'll just have to have my wife make pad Thai again soon when I get home from work travel. It's usually a once a year dish at home because it takes a lot of care to make right. Biggest suggestion would be to ask for a spice preference with the order. Next suggestion would be to get some more flavor cooked onto the tofu and eggs. Also - I don't need a big cheesy grin at the counter, but something more than a mumble is a must. Good luck!

This may appeal to those who are environmentally conscientious, but don’t want to drain their wallets at high end restaurants. I was rather amazed that they used glass cups and porcelain(?) bowls while operating very similarly to a fast food joint at fairly low prices. It’s not exactly dirt cheap (their average price is $9), but it’s one of the lower priced food joints that minimizes the use of disposables and I applaud them for that (regardless if sustainability was really their mindset for minimizing disposables). If you dine in, the only disposable they use is the napkins. This restaurant has the casual atmosphere of a fast food chain, but they use actual tableware when you eat in (so I don’t really know how to categorize this restaurant). You order from the counter (just like a fast food chain), but they give you numbered plate and they bring the food to your table (like a restaurant). They bring it directly to you whether your order is dine-in or to-go. They clean up the table for you when you leave (just like a restaurant). Today my mom and I tried their Chinatown Lo Mein and Masaman Curry (see pic). I liked how they served the curry and rice separately into two bowls. I really like their Thai Tea. They offer it as a fountain drink ($1.95).

Kept hearing about "how great this place was" but NOT. First problem I had was the very long wait for my to-go order, waited 20 minutes. I saw the kitchen hustling to get the orders out but the Ubereats and Grubhub orders were simply overwhelming the kitchen leaving seated patrons a long wait for their food - I noticed other tables waiting for a long time as well. Now for the food I ordered the Singapore Curry Chow Mein. It was horrible, was like cheap Chinese. I tons of noodles with very little onion and or basil and other flavors that were supposed to be there. I've had better Chinese street food! If you're going to order use the app/online for PU, that may help the timing issues and/or off lunch hours. Would I eat here again? NOPE!

This is the second time we have been very clear with their staff that I cannot tolerate any heat due to chemo, and yet again my husband asked directly ‘is there any chili in this dish?’ and was told emphatically no there was not and that it was aromatic. The item itself is actually listed as ‘aromatic’ and there is no mention of any chili. Yet for the second time in a row I am stuck without dinner tonight because there WAS chili in the dish (you can see the red flakes!) and it’s too painful for me to try to eat it. This company is in the business of food so all their ordering staff and chefs should understand about allergies and sensitivities. Yet they don’t. They haven’t a clue. What if instead of pain, my reaction to the ingredients that we were told were not in the dish, actually caused a severe anaphylactic reaction instead and landed me in the hospital? They should make it their business to know about these things. So yet again I’m very disappointed in this place. Below is my review from the last time we ordered from there, and we never did get the replacement meal they promised.

We’ve been coming here for years and I have ordered the mango basil dish before as mild as possible and it’s been fine for me to eat. Jalapeño strips are an option but I always uncheck it. But when the food arrived it was so hot it burned my mouth to the point of it being very painful due to chemo damage, and this was explained to the staff when we ordered. So I called the store now to complain and instead of just accepting what I was saying and trying to put it right, the first person said ‘is that the ONLY thing wrong with your order?’ as if it was insignificant. And the second person argued with me first that the sauce is hot anyway (it’s not, I’ve had it before without issue) and when I pointed that out he argued again that there were no jalapeño strips in it so it couldn’t have been hot. So which is it? They just wouldn’t accept what I was saying and continually argued with me. Absolutely terrible customer service. And they said they couldn’t have a replacement delivered even tho I had the original delivered, and if I wanted a replacement I’d have to come and pick it up myself. So they got the order wrong, insulted me, argued with me, and then wouldn’t try and fix the issue. After I got upset at their response they finally agreed to leave a credit, but for $4 less than what paid, because they said Uber Eats add on their cut to the price. I had to suck up the cost of their mistake. I later checked my order and even tho I had left the jalapeños unchecked (and I double checked this before I hit order because I have to be so careful) there was suddenly a check mark next to it. I called the store back and they argued yet again with me that that can’t be the case even though I kept saying it was as clear as day. But someone checked it and I know it wasn’t me. All in all a pretty bad experience: I got no dinner even though I paid for it; I was insulted and argued with; I have a credit for less than what I paid; and my mouth still hurts 30 mins later. So if you have mouth sensitivities due to chemo, or dietary restrictions, I’d give this...

I live within walking distance of a Tin Drum, but drive past it to visit this location. My roommate and I usually receive great service and good food. Tonight, I was heading home and tried to call in an order since it was 8:25 and the restaurant closes at 9 on Sundays. I tried multiple times but the line was busy. When I arrived at 8:32, a lady (who I do not see often at this location) asked if I already placed my order. I told her no because the line was busy when I tried to call. She said she did that intentionally since they were closing soon. I asked if they closed at 9 still and she said (with an attitude) they were closing at 8:45 since tomorrow is Labor Day. I’m not sure why those fifteen minutes mattered, and this time change wasn’t posted anywhere. I understand that the employees may have needed a break, but if someone had answered when I called I wouldn’t have wasted my time driving there. Since I still had over ten minutes until their new closing time, I stood in line behind 1 guy to order. It took a few minutes. The lady then tells the cashier that they’re not taking any more orders while the other guy was still placing his order. I’m not sure why she let me stand there for a few minutes and waste my time instead of just nicely telling me that in the first place. I have never had to deal with bad attitudes at this location until today. If you want to close 15 minutes early, that’s great. You don’t have to compromise customer service in...

OK, so you want a great meal with a great environment with great energy and a great experience. You must come check out this place. When you arrive, you will be greeted by nothing but professionalism. The restaurant is absolutely clean all the way from the environment, all the way down to the energy of the staff. in today’s world, people want to spend their money where they can feel at home. When I first arrived, I was greeted by the cashier who pointed out the restroom area to me and told me to take my time. Upon entering into the restroom the environment was so comfortable and clean. I felt like I was at home so I did that go number two. From there it made me want to Step into the kitchen to grab a bite to eat out of my refrigerator. If you know what I mean. Catch the vision as I describe this humble environment to you. This is a place that you will definitely want to visit. In today’s world mini restaurant do not care about their customers only the money. This place and space not only cares about you but your money And how you feel about spending your money with them. The restaurant is 100% holistically clean. You can literally eat your food off of the floor. And in today’s world with the coming lockdowns and viruses at hand if you want to be sure that you are getting a great and clean experience this place is highly recommended. You will be so happy that you came here that you will not want to spend your money anywhere...
