Customer service: We were greeted warmly by the employees and they were cheerful/pleasant throughout our experience. When trying to communicate about our meals, it was extremely difficult. My coworker and I repeated ourselves multiple times with requests that I did not feel were challenging that still didn’t get through so we gave up (if we need to wait for the spicy chicken, you can make everything else and I’ll just eat that while it’s cooking/you can put everything the platter comes with on it). We were informed the wait for their featured chicken would be 5 minutes. It was more like 10-15. We arrived about 11:55 am and didn’t sit down to eat with both of our meals until almost 12:30. As I was sitting down, the party of four men who were in line in front of us were getting up to leave.
The pair working the line seemed very disorganized. Lots of running back and forth without a real system. Every step took an extremely long time. Yelled across the restaurant asking my coworker if he paid for his food. Maybe they’re new? But why leave two trainees alone during lunch in a busy corporate area?
Quality of food: I was expecting a lot more flavor for the type of food this is. I could have passed on the featured spicy chicken that we waited an extra long time for. The Hibiscus Lemonade was $5 and tasted like the hibiscus syrup was spoiled/expired so I dumped it and just got myself a Coke. The pita bread was very soft and fresh. Way overpriced for the quality unfortunately overall - about $21 including tip tax entree and drink.
There are so many restaurants in the area, unfortunately this one did not stand out and I’m personally shocked to see so many 5 star reviews. I’ve had much better food and service at places rated lower. Probably will...
Read moreI'm aware there are multiple locations of this restaurant but this is the only location I've been to and for the 1st time to try them out recently. It's a decent size restaurant serving Mediterranean food. It's attached to the State Farm building with a few other restaurants. There's a parking garage with space for retail parking. I think the 1st 2 or 3 hours of parking is free as long as you spend something somewhere but don't quote me on that. The atmosphere is good enough for the type of restaurant this is and service is impeccable. Onto the most important part of a restaurant, the food.
Food here so good, I went here 3 days in a ROW! They serve Mediterranean food so you got your gyro wrap sandwiches, your platter if you're not feeling bread, falafels, etc... Proteins on offer are beef and chicken. I've had both and both are juicy and tender. Bread on the wrap is cooked warm with that crisp ring on the outer perimeter. These guys got the formula down. The biggest W in this entire restaurant though is the chicken wings. I'm not lying when I say these guys do fried chicken wings better than most of my own people in the area. They're very crispy and juicy. They have a little spicy kick to them so they don't NEED anything additional. HOWEVER, if you're feeling different , a little secret addition is to try them with the smoky BBQ sauce. You won't be disappointed if this type of food is up your alley.
The manager's name is Labib and he's a cool guy and running a good spot as far as I'm concerned. If you like Mediterranean food, I recommend you give these folks a try and tell Labib I...
Read moreI typically don’t write reviews but they asked me to leave an honest one. I support the Halal Guys 2 times a week. They are a restaurant partner of mine and help my company serve hundreds of corporate employees everyday throughout the city of Atlanta. Upon entering there brick and mortar I initially was treated as if I was less than. I have the rewards app and had earned a free side & drink with the purchase of a platter. The cashier refused to honor it even though it was in THEIR app! He went to the extent of bringing me around the counter to show me the screen of it so called not taking my QR code scan which is once again in THEIR app. He then proceeds to try to negotiate with me and says “I’ll give you a drink if you buy the fries”. Why would I purchase something that was free? After about 10 minutes of going back and forth I was finally given my all of my food and told I’d have to pay next time. I thinks it’s pretty obvious that I would have to pay for something if there wasn’t a reward attached to it. The guys name who provided this horrible customer service was Teliv/Telviv or however you spell it. I hate that this was my experience especially since I’m an avid supporter. The food was just okay this time around and I honestly think it was because of how I was treated. I hope you all can get some better employees in your brick and mortar to make your loyal customers feel welcomed and...
