After a series of dissatisfying experiences, this last service was the final straw. Let me preface by saying the salon is always clean and aesthetically pleasing — the (presumed) owner is also always assisting the overall flow of the business; however, the incompetence of certain nail techs is why I’ll no longer patronize this location. I get very simple nails. No crazy designs and no intricate shaping — simple gel polish (sometimes even clear) and a moderately shorter length. My primary gripe had always been that the tech would blatantly go against my length request. He would ask if I wanted them short, to which I would say, “not too short.” He would then cut them at an appropriate length but then proceed to file them so unnecessarily aggressive, that he would take off another few mm, leaving me with nubs. ALSO, I always ask to soak my nails off to one, preserve the length of my natural nail (because I don’t use tips) and two, because forcibly removing the acrylic hurts and damages my nail bed. With that being said, this past time, I specifically told the owner that I needed a soak off and full set which I would think would prompt whomever to go ahead and prepare the soak off bowls, yet I sat for nearly ten mins before a tech came over to which I, AGAIN, stated that I needed a soak off. For whatever reason, he asked if I wanted a cut down and I said yes because my nails had grown too long. So he proceeds to take out a pair of clippers which I wasn’t initially alarmed at because I figured, “Ok, maybe he’s gonna cut prior to the soak off.” NO! As soon as he cut the first two fingers I could tell that he was cutting my nails to try and pry them off to which I had to REITERATE that I wanted a SOAK. OFF. So fast forward to him having to add tips to three of my fingers because he had cut them too short. Irritation number one. He paints my nails, yadiyada and I end up paying $60. Initially I wasn’t as bothered because my nails looked decent. HOWEVER, fast forward to 72 hours later, my gel polish has bubbled and blatantly chipped. This is unacceptable and ridiculous. They’re overpriced and my experience (over the past few months) has been inconsistent and subpar at best and because of that, I would absolutely NOT recommend, and I’m NOT going back.

Today was an overall enjoyable experience minus the point of payment experience and a disagreement over pricing. When I arrived and asked for a manicure and pedicure, I was told that the price for the dipped manicure starred at $45. When I sat in the chair I was handed a pricing menu to pick my pedicure. I selected the $52 pedicure with the sugar scrub. While I sat in the chair, I could see the other side of the pricing menu with the manicure pricing listed in the pedicurist's toolbasket. I noticed the $45 for the type of manicure that I thought I was receiving. Acrylic tips were an extra 10, and French Tips another 5 or 10. At most, I expected to pay $65 for my manicure. When it came time to pay, the manicure nail tech attempted my card twice and informed me it didn't process.well, that's when I asked him how much my nails were, and he responded that they were $75. I moved enough funds to cover the pricing I was originally quoted, plus tip and told the technician that I was quoted a base price of $45. Well, I was wearing a mask, my voice must have been raised and other patrons and technicians overheard, especially when he told me loudly that I was wrong. He never presented a pricing menu to me and didn't tell me the price before he took my card. I moved the funds to the card and tipped both him and the woman technician that did my pedicure. I've been coming to this nail salon for over a decade, and I've never been chastised like that about a price. The nail technician didn't bother to offer to help me with my shoes and barely made eye contact with me after the disagreement. Another woman technician asked me if I was okay as I walked out and I told her I was fine, but that I didn't appreciate being lied to. Anyway, 3 stars overall, because I'm not sure if I feel comfortable returning. They always do a great job, but this experience was so humiliating.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I went in for a pedicure and a complete set of acrylics (I had a set on that needed to be removed first) and was told there was no wait. I was set in a chair where I soaked my feet for about 30 minutes before someone finally came over to start on my feet... after another 15-20 minutes, someone else ran over and plunged my fingernails into acetone, where they continued to soak for over 30 minutes...meantime, they were so saturated that I was able to essentially pull the old acrylics off. Finally someone came over to work on them and I was so irritated, I told her I didn't want them done at that point, just to clean them up because I didn't have another hour to sit there. She insisted on putting the new set on... which I endured. The following day I noticed the gel polish was bubbling up on my nails, but I was unable to go back until the following week due to work travel. I went in just this morning and explained my situation to the operator who could speak English. She abruptly told me that I had to pay for the removal of the polish. I told her I absolutely would NOT pay for it because it was not my fault. She dug her heels in and said nail polish change is a charge. She clearly had an attitude... not just her words, but also her actions. I asked where the gel color was so I could pick a color... she just pointed with her face and said, "over there"...no help at all. She very quickly removed the pocked polish, repainted (left them tacky on the ends), got up, and said "you be done". RUDE!!!!!

I've been coming here for 3 years now at first this was a lovely establishment I didn't mind paying higher prices for services that come standard at most nail salons in the area. But the last few times I've been service has been HORRIBLE I used to ONLY let Peter do my nails he was EXCELLENT shaped them evenly nicely and did not hurt you.

The first bad experience I had was when the tech did my nails I was in a rush leaving out of town for a funeral the next day the tech gave me the widest uneven nails some longer than others I said something to him about it he attempted to fix them but made it worse, so I went back when it was time for a fill in the next nail tech said OMG did you get those done here I said yes and explained what happened he proceeds to take off every nail rips my real nail blood is coming out he says this hasn't happened in so long to him put glue on it to help with the bleeding then gives me a new full set which was again thick and uneven (Mind you for what you pay you'd think the techs nail game would be on point right)

Second bad experience was when it was time for a fill in from the first bad experience I was placed in a chair for about 15 minutes and given colors to choose from, I was never checked on nor did anyone come and say it would be a few minutes. I went after work so it was about 6:20 not busy at all after 25 minutes I just got up and walked out. I should have never gone back but I reply love their color selection of gels and regular polish they have a ton.

The third and LAST bad experience was today I WILL NOT be going back I went in only for a pedicure I haven't had my nails done here in a few months due to the other nail experiences. I walked in and a guy looked at me asked what I needed I said a pedicure as I was speaking he walked away to go back to his other customer I stood there to see if anyone would approach me since it was 2 women nail techs sitting there staring me in my mouth as I was speaking and then kept looking at me as I stood there waiting. So I simply walked out as walking to the door one of the nail tech ladies that was looking at me started saying ma'am ma'am... I'm really upset because like I said before the colors here are amazing and it's so close to my house but this business has changed so much it's sad you can't get quality service here anymore the techs always look over worked, irritated, and underpaid. Nobody knows who's in charge when the lady who answers the phone isn't there everyone just looks like a deer...

By far worst experience its a hit or miss depending upon who is servicing you. I don’t like complaining but, I will just write a review from my service tonight. All I wanted was a regular pedicure & nail soak off. A soak off which typically more work more time but only $10. Today I was charged $15 for a “take off” when all my nails were snatched off with a nail clipper, and unevenly filed afterwards. Simple service might’ve been no big deal to her or other customers but, customer service is everything not everyone likes a quick and fast job done on them especially when dealing with sensitive areas such as nail beds. Then I specifically tell the lady I just want the basic pedicure for $34 nothing else added really I just want a color change but just get pedicures for the relaxation plus I get gel so its just nicer with the pedicure, she ask me about my calluses? I said you can not thinking I’d be charge for something I have always had included in my pedicure no matter where I go but she did nothing out of the norm but, I was charge $5 for callus remover yet the few spots still look and feel the same as always , I am assuming she wanted me to get the upgraded pedicure I declined her offer but she still was going to find a way to charge me extra for something extra. I don’t like leaving not speaking up but I am always trying to be respectful and nice when getting serviced but, this is my main reason why I dislike going to nail salons for my full sets or even for nail removal and I am so hesitant about where I go for services on my feet I am still young if I don’t want all the extra services I shouldn’t at check out feel swindled out of money. I don’t mind tips but, when people who are servicing you find ways to just tax on your bill its not right that’s what tips are for. I didn’t complain about paying at the time of checkout but, its just the principle for me in writing this review I will never...
