Durango Joes Coffee — Restaurant in Durango

Fantastic local modern coffee shop. Why the heck choose Starbucks (Global conglomerate), when given the option of 5 Durango Joe's locations within Durango? Here are a few reasons I choose DGO Joe's: 1 - Consistently excellent coffee and service. 2- Locally owned, and local philanthropy 3- Dog friendly (they make excellent pup-cups... My dog Loves going to DGO Joe's drive thru's) 4- Local prepared food selections (burritos, sandwiches, salads, pastries, treats and snacks) 5- Pre-pay options earn free drinks! 6- Mug club gets lifetime discounts!!! 7- Free-coffee Fridays earn a free drink with the purchase of a bag of beans! 8- Joe and his family are awesome people! 9- They have "regular of the week" drawings, celebrating their customers/neighbors. 10- They don't burn their coffee like SOME global...

From someone that came from out of town. I am so sad we do not have a Durango Joes where we live! From the food to the customer service it was all a 5/5. Their prices were good for the food and drinks (compared to popular brands like Starbucks and Dutch Bros). Our go too’s was the Mudslide, Hot chocolate, their breakfast sandwich and burritos. We waited no more than 5 minutes for our food and our drinks, which is faster than expected for most coffee places.

The inside of this location seemed cleanly. From their tables to their bathrooms, we had no issues!

I usually have a half decent experience here but when the Lydia girl is working I almost just leave she's always super rude and treats my wife and I like we are stupid. She is super passive aggressive and sarcastic and just mean. She also never listens to what we say and it always gets us the wrong orders completely. The person actually making the coffee this particular time acted like it was the hardest thing just to add a little milk to a tea and instead of making room for the milk he just poured it on top of the already full cup and shoved the lid back on so we had tea spilling anywhere. Honestly ruined the experience and don't plan on going back any...
