I am new to Durango and just found this place because of an appointment in the building. Wonderful place. On just my third visit the woman that appears to run the cafe or at least work most morning shifts had my order down, as I walked up she asked me if I wanted my hot chocolate. She has a great energy about her and is super friendly with all the customers.
The food is simply outstanding. I have had the Chicken Tikka on back to back days. I love spicy food - I eat serranos and even ghost peppers off the vine - thus, most over the counter food tends to be a bit bland for me. Now this was not hot like I would make it, but it was wildly flavorful and, I believe the average person would say it had a nice kick.
Comfortable seating, friendly atmosphere, great staff, great drinks, great food. By the way, the entire building runs on solar powerful, which is incredible, and there are two or four stations out front where one can charge their electric cars. This is the most Durango Building I have been in yet,...
Read moreThis place is awesome!! I went on a Friday morning around 7:20 AM and the woman working the counter (I believe the owner) was incredibly nice and helpful. They have fresh daily sandwiches, and some amazing looking gluten free baked goods - I got the GF Apple Fig muffin and it was so, so good. They also have a delicious looking Nutty Bar that looks like a Blondie with some nuts/seeds, and I'd love to try their coffee (I remember seeing Chai, Macchiatto, and quite a few other options on the drink menu). The place is very spacious with lots of tables/seating and seems like a great reprieve from the more "fishbowl" coffee places on Main St. I will definitely be back here to work soon, and when I mentioned this to the owner she said she always accommodates anyone that needs softer music or anything. I'm not sure how many people are aware this place exists, I highly recommend checking it out - they deserve...
Read moreSUPER cool location, best part. great lighting, calm music with comfy furniture and open isolated spaces upstairs. the lady who took our order, was not very friendly.. not welcoming - first impressions matter! the menu was very diverse with drinks and flavors, boba options were super cool but didn’t try. I got a Carmel latte, super good espresso quality but I feel like it’s definitely missing something. my sister got a regular latte and as you can see, our lattes looks VERY different and mine was much more creamy. we would not recommend regular latte, it was made much differently.
we got broccoli cheese soup, it was very good the texture was interesting. although didn’t fill the cup :/ then a tomato soup, it was much sweeter than salty or basil tasting. I didn’t like it much personally but filled cup!:) other worker took dishes for us kindly. Overall super a unique place and...
