Parents beware!!! This restaurant tried to feed cleaning solution to customers and didn't comp any part of the meal.
Got 2 traditional breakfast eggs, with sides. The eggs tasted and smelt like cleaning solution and were not edible. The manager stated that since the eggs were apart (main part) of the meal she couldn't do anything about it and refused to do anything about it.
Since the eggs were apart of meal aka the main part and were inedible due to them cooking the eggs in a cleaning solution or adding some sort of chemical (assumed to be a cleaning solution) to them, you would assume that they would do something but they refused and wanted us to pay full price (which one of the table of 4 folded and payed on)...
One of the other member of party also got eggs and his eggs smelled the same (like cleaning solution), he refused to touch the eggs.
Another member got pancakes and the bottom pancake had a slight chemical taste to the bottom of it and he assumes that could of been cleaning solution for the grill. But he powered through without thinking and scarfed the last bit of pancake.
So, overall if you're a parent check your kids food for cleaning solution flavoring. If you have a table with no kids you might do a smell test before eating since your food might be a little chemically flavored. Management won't care if you meal is inedible and possibly unsafe.
Also, there was a secondary manager there that kept staring at our table from the corner while the person next to them (assumed to be the manager on shift) played on their computer.
Finally my hiccups ~20 minutes after taste like chemicals :(
If it is any consolation at least the grill is possibly clean and ready to be used with some fresh chemical/cleaning solution so your food...
Read moreThis is my second bad experience before writing a review. But after this last visit I’m done. We ordered a griddle combo that came with 2 flavored pancakes 2 eggs bacon and sausage. We ordered the sausage burned. After our server talks while our food sits in the window she yells for them to make some of the precooked sausage crispy. She brings the room temp food at this point. The sausage wasn’t there and she said it would be out in a minute. It came out still grey and under cooked. We told her to just take it off the ticket. This is after I wait over 3 minutes for my syrup so my pancakes got even colder. We were never offered refills for our drinks. Dirty dishes stacked up. It was the worst service and experience. Then the server says we took $21 off your ticket I’m so sorry for this. We look at the ticket and it was originally $45 for breakfast for 2?!? They didn’t take anything off for us or do us any favors. Needless to say we left still hungry. We are semi cold food and never had any breakfast meat. The acting manager yelled at us and told us it’s against policy for them to send out burned meat. It should be against policy to send it raw and against the customers request. She cleared our dishes and angry walked away without offering us to go drinks or anything. We left upset. That girl had zero business...
Read moreWe have been to Jimmy's Egg at several locations. This one is closest to us, so we went for late breakfast/early lunch. The music was so loud in the restaurant, and seemed to cater to the old folk crowd (which I am, but c'mon, too loud!) The waitress acted like she was in too big of a hurry to be bothered. She hardly spoke. Not friendly at all. I didn't have silverware or napkins, so I got my own. The food arrived, and it was all very dry. My husband had the meat lovers skillet, it was lukewarm and very well done and I had the California club sandwich. I asked for mayo, and she dropped it off as she "ran by" . The mayo didn't help. Still very dry. If the sides get any smaller, they'll be bringing them to the table in a teaspoon. Waitress brought the check, literally set it down as she was running by. Still, no talking to the...
