I recently visited Atomic Clock for my son's birthday, and I can't recommend it enough! The beer selection is fantastic, with something for everyone, and they even have a full bar with a rotating menu of cocktails, which makes it a great spot no matter your preference. But what really keeps me coming back is the food. Chef Lopez is truly incredible! The menu is diverse, full of bold flavors, and just downright delicious. On top of that, Chef Lopez made my son feel extra special by coming out of the kitchen personally to check on his meal—such a nice touch! This was our second visit, and I’m already looking forward to the next one! Read moreI spent three days in Raleigh in May 2025 for no particular reason - but decided I would use my time to explore the beer scene in town. On a $9 side-quest to Durham, I made Atomic Clock my first stop. I'm glad I did. Situated in an historic building that once housed the city's fleet maintenance garage, Atomic Clock serves up tasty brews and delicious food from a friendly staff in a super charming environment. I experienced a lager, a smoked ale, a brown ale, and a black IPA - all excellent representatives of their style. For lunch, I had the fried artichoke sandwich, which was delicious and surprisingly filling!

Read moreGreat new brewery in Durham with Brian and Colleen Quinn at the helm. The beer selection was good and the Pilnser was light and refreshing on a hot day. The food menu had a good variety. The vegetable orzo bowl with shrimp was served chilled by request. It was full of mushrooms, picked onions, broccoli Rabe and a great vinaigrette. Perfect for the warm day. The corn ribletts had a slightly spicy seasoning and served with some sour cream. Perfect addition to the meal. The beer battered cod sandwich was plentiful, crisp and wonderfully accompanied by super crispy French fries. I could have eaten a bucket of those. Definitely a must try if in the area for just a beer or food. Keep up...
