I stopped by w my 2 Aussies on my way to my sis's in Cary (I just moved to Richmond from Austin this Fall and marked up places I wanted to check out btw there and here now that I can visit by car rather than plane). Very friendly staff, great service by Kristen and the bartender Jen was cool too just to come out to see the dogs, the covered patio was quite cool w the fans on and the patio area itself was both large and pretty, encased by plants on all sides w some Japanese lamps strung along the ceiling to set the vibe with good music. Shout out to Kimberly and Rose tendin my dogs w love while I ventured around to take pictures. The ambiance you can see in the menu reminded me of a fusion health place that was unafraid to still offer a burger, fries, and wings. I had grilled asparagus with parmesan & a perfect sunny side up egg over it all to make it decadent, and I also had the deviled eggs. Feeling good, I over-indulged w an order of wings too. I figure all that is under 1000 calories and 10-15 g. carbs so yay me for my only meal of the day (keto sux). Add 200 cal of whiskey and I'm good to go. Prices are reasonable, but you can't put a price on a cool, shaded, outdoor patio that allows dogs, even if mine were the only in attendance...there are water bowls everywhere here! Just sayin, I'd pay more. It's a relaxed atmosphere, so don't be scared of some of the elevated menu choices. I haven't found a place in Cary or Richmond like this that serves liquor, so I think I have found my fix everytime I venture between. 5 stars!

Our lunch at Greer Street Garden was the perfect cap to our morning. After hiking, I wanted a place that we could eat outside in the shade and also had vegan options. Greer Street Garden fit the bill. We sat outside in their shaded back porch at the picnic tables. Our server and hostess were both very friendly and accommodating. The server double checked that the bahn mi and artichoke appetizer were vegan. He also made sure to split the bahn mi on 2 places because we wanted to share that and the appetizer. Excellent service. The food itself was also amazing. The artichoke appetizer was acidic, salty, and sweet. The artichokes were cooked perfectly. Tender but not mushy. The Bahn Mi was flavourful and a little spicy. The pickled veggies went very well with the sweet and spicy tofu. We both hoovered it down quickly. Yum. I also took a picture of the Dim Sum plate but we did not try it. The person who did said it was great! I'm excited to go back to Greer Street Garden. The food was all very fresh and flavorful. The service was on point and fast. You should give it a shot if you're reading this far! :)

Updating with cucumber feta salad, goat cheese and beet bruschetta, and partner’s seafood lo mein. Perfect summer lunch spot 💙 // We love Geer Street Garden—a regular haunt, drop in for lunch on a busy work day, weekend drink spot. Andy is just amazing, and TAKE A LOOK at the glorious Daikon Radish Cake in the photo, which was so delicate and fragrant and perfect (omg!). Chinese week is a particular favorite for my partner and me, but you should ALWAYS try the specials, as the menu changes to reflect local produce and everything is delicious—the bruschetta, the salads, the gnocchi! I particularly love the tofu bánh mì. Special shout out to Mark and Brian, who are also extraordinary artists in addition to serving your delicious food and being wonderful human beings to talk with, even during hectic lunch times when they are handling a great many tasks ❤️ We love you, Geer Street!

I showed up today at 1:40 with a specific meal in mind, after seeing the pictures online. They said it was still brunch but I could wait for 20 minutes and then order off the lunch menu. I'm a pregnant woman on a mission, so I said that would be great. They asked where I wanted to be sat and I had no preference, so I said wherever was convenient. 20 minutes later someone new grabbed my order, then I waited. 25 minutes later another new person dropped off my food without a word and walked away. My sandwich was wrong and I had wanted to order a drink, but they walked away before I could say anything. 5 minutes go buy and the person who dropped my food off happened to be walking past, so I flagged them down to ask if they were my waitress or if I could get help. She said she was my waitress and started to walk away again. But I asked if I could order a drink and asked about fixing my sandwich. Then I tried to ask about the to-go order I placed, but again she was walking off. She heard me and said she'd check on it, but when I tried to talk again about the dessert I had already ordered she AGAIN walked off and completely ignored me. Every time I tried to speak up, I was completely brushed off and she would walk away. That brought on the hormonal tears. I've literally never had service this bad and been ignored for almost an hour. When she came back, I asked for the check and to go boxes, because I'm now crying, have messed up food, and just want to leave. I paid $60 to be ignored, have my food made wrong, and have part of my order forgotten to be put in (when they brought my check and boxes, they had still forgotten my dessert- the literal only reason I came). I cannot stress enough, how I have literally NEVER been treated this way, pregnant or not. As my waitress gave me the bag for my boxes, she said, "well I'm sorry for.. whatever is causing... this". Meaning me crying. The lack of self awareness or even the human ability to ask if something was wrong, is astounding. And to top it off, I had to pay $10 to park just for all of this nonsense. 0/10, do...

The first time I went there the food was pretty good and the staff seemed nice , second time my experience was completely different. It felt like they where way under staffed and stressed and took it out on there customers. Me and my friend are both 21 year old girls who are chill and not high maintenance at all , it took a while for us to get our food 1 , witch was fine because we where chilling and just yapping, but as soon as we got it it felt like we where being rushed out because they where busy. The food was not as good as I remembered, it was greasy and tasted rushed , we even witnessed them kicking a group of two out of a table when they just got there food cuz they “ didn’t realize another group who had just walked in made a reservation “ whitch I think is rude . They seemed very unorganized , like the two men working there had bad communication. Then to top it off my friend and I get yelled at after we payed the check left a tip and walked out the door . Apparently the worker man who took my $100 I gave him to pay my $44 bill didn’t inform the other guy of him doing so . So when I got my change back and left a tip in the book , he assumed we were short on the check and were walking out without fully paying . In this situation he could have just asked his coworker if we payed or not but he didn’t. He proceeded to approach my friend and I very aggressively and accuse us of something we didn’t do , and when he realized he was wrong we got no apology.

Long story short I nor my friend will be eating...
