Street parking right out in front. We're from out of town and wish we loved closer because there seemed to be a lot of cool events that happen all the time. Some examples include Paint Your Pint Glass and Book Club.
They don't have flights but they do provide half pours and let us do some tasters. My husband and I tried the Bleu moon with an orange and the Spaghetti About it which is a beer cocktail. They also have plenty of non alcoholic options and also other options such as wine and seltzers and cocktails.
They had some chips up front but didn't see any other food options. I absolutely love how dog friendly this was. They have water, dog treats and dog toys for them. Dogs are allowed inside which was great.
We liked the beer and beer cocktail we selected. At first my beer seemed to have a sour note but it ended up being pretty easy to drink and quite refreshing. The spaghetti about it was kind of like a beer aperol Spritz.
Definitely recommend coming here, plenty of seating inside and there are board games and some seating outside with some...
Read moreLove, love, love. Everything about DSSOLVR makes this my favorite brewery/bar in the Triangle, and it’s so unique that it’s actually not comparable to the others. A wide variety of types of beers - their sours are even gluten free - Jell-O shots, cocktails, and the largest selection of NA options I’ve seen around here.
As an IPA drinker, I migrate towards one of their NINE plus IPAs on the menu right now (shoutout to 🦎). Outside of my normal taste, they even have others I love - the sweet sours, their German Pilsner, and the dark lager. Ansley and her crew are spectacular. I also appreciate that DSSOLVR does a round up for local non nonprofits every month and frequently supports other local businesses; they contribute to our community and also make you feel like a part of the community when you come in.
So many wonderfully weird events and just overall a place that makes me happy to walk in to! My dog, Zozo, also loves that they’re pup friendly. Thank you for being...
Read moreWe decided to check out their Tuesday trivia, solely because they have a lot of gluten free beers on the menu. Even though they're a 40 minute drive for us, it was worth it.
They had quite a free GF Sours (which I have had a heck of a time finding). Although almost all of them were exceptionally sweet, there was one (Blah Blah Blast) that wasn't too sweet. They also have GF ciders, seltzers and wine, along with plenty of other beer options that aren't GF.
It's a cool spot and allows dogs, which is awesome! They have plenty of dog toys and water bowls for your furry friend, should you have one to bring.
It's also right across the street from the Durham Food Hall, so if you're hungry, you can either grab food and bring it with you or get it delivered.
Overall, it's a pretty cool spot. Just a bit of a haul for us to check...
