ABSOLUTE CHAOS We have come to this location for the.very last time tonight. We typically order inside and eat there- service is usually slow (once it took 25 minutes for us to receive our food) but employees are usually friendly and the dining area is usually clean. But never once have we had a “normal” experience, free of any issues. We never even got to place our order this evening. Came in at about 5:45 and there were multiple people in the lobby just waiting for their food. The “manager” was yelling obscenities at employees while she was attempting to pull orders together. One employee asked her to please stop talking to them this way as there were customers in the lobby and it was inappropriate. She flat out said she didn’t care. At one point, she did turn around and look at us and said someone would be with us in a moment. That moment never came. We waited for over 20 minutes. In those minutes, she continued to verbally fight with other employees, she called order numbers up but then never gave those customers their food when they came to the counter to get it Then, SHE LEFT. Bags of food on the counter just sitting there. Other employees tried to pick up where she left off but there was no leadership, no system in place, and it was insanity. So we decided to just go. When we walked to the parking lot, the drive-thru line was all the way into the road. Bojangles across the street was where we ended up going and so did a ton of other potential Popeyes’s customers. We watched car after car drive across the road from Popeyes to Bojangles while we sat in Bojangles and ate our food. I don’t know who owns this store but they are failing as a store owner. Where are they? Why aren’t they keeping things together here? This location is ALWAYS out of something and sometimes it’s chicken! Tonight we heard the employees saying there was no more spicy chicken of any kind. Unreal. No...
Read moreFirst they told us they didn't have any chicken sandwiches and we would have to wait Then they screwed up our drinks 3 times.. We asked for unsweet iced tea ...first we received sweet iced tea then we received half and half the third time we received an Arnold Palmer
Then they brought out our order but only the chicken sandwich ... After looking through the bag we realized it was not our order then she gave the bag to the car behind us I went in to get our food
The food bags that the car behind us went through came back in and they tried to give them to me. I said I would not take them Then they told me I didn't order a truff chicken sandwich after I had just shown them the receipt showing that I did.
Then the manager said we will make it one more time and then we're done
I said no we're done now .... You just told your employee not to give food to somebody after somebody else has already touched it then you gave it to me and then told me that nobody had touched it after you just told her that ...I can hear everything you have all just said
Absolutely ridiculous. Terrible service
Except for the female that was running the register at the counter for the dining room she was wonderful & had nothing to do with it .
1:00 today
Another car left because they never received their food and then the manager was yelling at the drive-thru line staff because they couldn't get food out & all these cars are waiting ...it's her fault no one knew what was...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant in the U.S.
We had a $20 Popeye’s gift card that a family member had purchased as a gift for us from another Popeye’s location in the Triangle area. Even though we had the receipt to prove the balance on the card, they refused to acknowledge it.
We waited for 20 minutes to speak to the manager just to hear this news. When she (the manager) finally came out, while texting on her phone (didn’t even acknowledge I was there until I asked if she could help me) she didn’t even look at the gift card. She just looked at me and said their store “was not accepting gift cards.”
Most customer service oriented places would have offered a store credit, or some form of discount to compensate for the wasted time and lack of clarity on their store’s policy regarding whether or not they accepted gift cards, but not this store.
Why not just tell us initially instead of making us wait for 20 minutes?
Also, they refused to open another register while they “dealt” with our issue, which resulted in other dine-in customers having to wait. I felt bad about that, but I shouldn’t; it’s very poor customer service to not accept your own store chain’s gift card and leave customers waiting for such a long time.
We will not be going back to this location, they have lost our...
