This is the WORST wingstop in Durham. I ordered online a 6 piece combo on 4/18/25. As I was approaching, the store, a Wingstop employee was outside. Let me know that their system had crashed and rebooted and so they had a few orders for DoorDash that ended up being canceled. I went inside and got in line in the pick up line and waited about 25 minutes before I asked if I could just be refunded for my order instead of waiting. I was then informed that most likely my order was Place during the time when their system crashed, and that I couldn’t get a refund that day because the manager had to be in to process a refund. Two employees who were talking to me, told me to come back the following Monday, the manager will be in and I could get a refund. I ended up reaching back out the following week on a Wednesday because that was the soonest that I could come back. I called ahead of time to let them know about my order the previous week and to make sure that I will be able to get a refund. I spoke with the manager on the line and he said The general manager was the only person who could process a refund (Which didn’t make any sense to me) He told me the only other thing I could do was just get the order remade so I agreed. I asked could he make the order now so that by the time I got there, it will be ready. The manager told me he didn’t have my order ticket. It was really busy so I would just have to come in and place the order. When I got there One of the employees got the manager, and let him know what I was looking to do. The manager never came to speak to me. He looked up from the back , looked at me and said something to the other employee. He seemed annoyed, and didn’t show any type of customer service skills I believe he was a light skinned guy with locs in a ponytail. I ended up getting my order handed to me after Waiting about 15 to 20 minutes. Overall, the experience was stressful And annoying. I will never go to this location or recommend this location to anybody. Their system crashing was not my fault, them communicating to me that my order wasn’t gonna be placed was not my fault, and even not being able to get a refund was totally out...
Read moreNastiest restaurant I’ve ever seen. Hand wash sink was completely blocked by brooms and mops that kept falling on the floor. Every time one of the staff picked it up, they continued making food without washing hands. There were people that had been waiting almost 45 minutes, and when they asked how much longer, the staff told them they could leave. It was this busy and three of the employees went out back to smoke, came back in, started making food again. No hand washing. One of those people was a “manager,” and when he returned he put his feet up on the desk, which is visible from the front, and started telling everybody about something on Facebook. Two of the staff were eating food while they were making it!! One girl was playing in a guys hair waiting for the fries to finish. To top it all off, as new people came in they were told they can only get food IF THEY COULD PAY VIA CASHAPP TO ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES PHONES AND PAY AN EXTRA FEE! They said they were no longer taking money and cards at the register because they were too busy and a premium had to be paid to get an order placed. I don’t know who owns this place, but I’ve been here twice, thinking the second time would be different. It was not. Totally different crew, same behavior. The second time, I just left without my food! That’s how much disgusting behavior and how many disgusting attitudes I encountered! I killed a roach near the kitchen, and they said they come in from outside sometimes. Yeah right! Whoever owns this place ought to be ashamed! There’s no way those employees behave that way constantly if it’s not tolerated...

We placed an order for food around 11:20p and arrived at the location to pick it up at 11:40p (you can do this at the one across town without an issue). Upon arrival, there was a lady standing outside. My boyfriend got out of the car and walked up to the door because we assumed she was waiting for the door to get her food. I am not sure why the door was locked at 11:40p when this location closes at 12 AM. It turns out that this was not the case. Someone opened the door (who didn't work there) to let her in and completely ignored my boyfriend who said "I have an online order". The person who didn't work there proceeds to let the lady in and shut the door in my boyfriend's face.
The group of people inside were just standing around talking and ignored my boyfriend until 11:55. When he was finally acknowledged by an employee, they tried to tell him that they were closed. He repeated himself saying "I have an online order". Apparently they received the order, took the ticket and put it off to the side somewhere and didn't bother to make the food.
After they realized the issue, they let my boyfriend in at 12 AM while they made the food. All of that could have been avoided had someone properly acknowledged him in the first place. It's great that they made the food but a refund should have been issued and still needs to be issued. Not to mention, they still forgot one of the items...
