Starbucks — Restaurant in East Greenwich

I am a loyal Starbucks coffee drinker. This is my go to spot close to home to grab a great coffee. This store is always clean, lots of windows for natural light during the day and very friendly environment. The staff are great and if you are a regular will get to know you and what you like. They work very hard especially during the busy times of day getting all the food and drinks right. I personally try to visit during the quieter times to drink a cup of iced coffee or the amazing nitro cold brew. I'll mix it up every now and again with a green ice tea or half tea half lemonade. The bakery items are pretty good as are the breakfast sandwiches and lunch boxes. Sometimes it's hard working in customer service and being friendly and the crew that work here are very good so it makes this spot a nice place to visit...

Staff always seems overwhelmed, recently had the Starbucks app default to this location when we ordered a pickup in Newport. Called the store and simply ask that they set the order aside that we could pick up later to salvage instead of wasting our purchase and instead of the staff being gracious they seemed put off and inconvenienced when we were experiencing having to make and purchase two orders at once. This was after having to call multiple times because they first hung up...

This Starbucks was very dirty. I visited around 3 pm and stayed 1 hour. The area I sat down in was disgusting. The table and the ground next to me was covered in food. The trash area was pretty much bug city. In the overhead lamp above me, the bugs had a little nest inside the lamp. I left after I killed the third bug that landed on my book. I looked up and saw a few more circling me and had enough. I prefer my coffee without bugs...
