I walked in and the young woman (thin, brown hair and glasses) was on her phone in front of the register over to the right. i think she looked up and maybe said hi in a moderate tone. but she didn't ask to help me, she didn't ask what I needed... & had zero energy that she was going to be coming to help me soon, even when I was standing there for a minute. I finally had to speak up and interrupt her on her phone... I had a 'to go order' and it was one of the bags there on the counter, but I didn't know the procedure there at this restaurant.(That I was apparently meant to just grab the bag with my name on it -that I didn't see!) I've never gotten take out there before. And I don't recall ever getting a takeout order where the person doesn't hand it to you. It was early dinner time -middle of the week and not busy at all. No reason that I shouldn't have had some decent customer service from her or someone! Also, waiting, i was stuck experiencing a terrible vibe from the gigantic creepy guy sitting at a table close to the register/door -staring intensely at me from the second I walked into the second I left!! ( ugh! gave me the willies and made me very uncomfortable)...if he's a regular, I suggest you insist on seating see him where he can't creep out female (or any) customers coming in! If i had to experience that guy regularly, I will avoid eating in or getting carry out from that location- not if I had to be ogled by that...
Read moreMy experience was nothing shy of a train wreck. We sat down and was greeted by our waitress. She took our order. It took close to 45 minutes from that point to get our my and my daughters food. Mind you the restaurant was not full or even close to it. Anyway when we got our order my wife chicken sandwich was breaded not grilled like she ordered. I also order a pancake with my order and that did not come with my meal. The employee did not say how long the chicken wouod take or anything. I mentioned these issues to the person that brought our food out (maybe a manager) he was dressed not like all the other Bob Evans employees. I also mentioned the condiments we would like. I ask our waitress that walked by maybe 5 minutes later for the same condiments. It took another 20 minutes and I was feed up with waiting so I approach the front counter and asked for all the things missing. The person in the red stripped shirt said in a loud voice "Your things are coming out right away" I told him I have been waiting a long time my food is now cold. I went and sat down. No one offered to warm my food up. Not one time did any manager come to me or my wife apologizing for what happened. This Bob Evans is ran by unprofessional employees and need to be retrained. I will never be going back...

Well, our review went from 2 Stars to 1 Star!!! And definitely DO NO RECOMMEND!
We are literally the only customer here and the staff could care less about anyone here.
Simply asked for straws for our drinks and some crayons for our daughter to color with. Server put our order in and immediately went to a side booth to play on her phone.
This is obviously a major problem when WE ARE THE ONLY ONE HERE! Shows why they have no one here at 4pm on a Saturday!
This business is better off closing and selling the property to a company that actually cares!

I do not recommend this place of business!
I am completely sympathetic to staff shortages, and having to work longer shifts.
However...It does not give you the right to argue with the customer and treat them poorly!
Our servers name was Morgan, in case there is two she had long blond hair and glasses, and was on 6/20/21 @ 2:15pm. She will be the reason I choose to take my business elsewhere!
I hope that she is able to be coached to better communicate with their customers in a polite and professional manner.
