Worst giant and giant bakery ever along with customer service! They absolutely do not want to do anything, let alone cake orders that their employee ignored half the requests and you know wrote down half the wrong information and you want to get it right before it is made in less than 1 day! He was a young boy, with glasses, I stood there for close to 20 minutes, over half being just waited to be heard or acknowledged to order a damn cake at the bakery! I called customer service and they said they won’t do anything regarding bakery but I used to work there and they absolutely do! They just don’t want to! And the fact the boy was inattentive, getting everything wrong I said more than 3x with everything, he obviously didn’t care either! I had to literally call him as loud as I could to ask if I could order a cake! It was only 5pm! Last I remember bakery closes at 7 or 8! I had plenty of time. He was only doing prep work. Looked at me multiple times standing there with pictures for my cake I ordered and ignored me completely! I called customer service in order to get things right, they told me oh they don’t handle that, yes they do! If the bakery is closed they do especially! They told me to come In around 6am when the manager is available less than 24 hrs before the cake is supposed to be picked up! I have a life and a job too people! I wanted my cake to be right and I know it is gonna be all messed up as he did not listen and barely wrote down what I said I watched him! Will never order a cake here ever again especially if it is all wrong like I know it will be! I am so disappointed, upset, and hurt, it’s for a birthday obviously so I want it to be very special and of course how I requested! Customer service is bullshit and so is their bakery workers! I’ve dealt with this same problem, multiple times there! You think it would’ve improved but obviously not! I used to work in damn bakery myself! This is pathetic! Never order...
Read moreI have shopped at this store for 30 years, but never again! If I could give them no stars, I would. I totally understand that staffing is a huge issue now, but yesterday, I saw things that occurred at this particular store that were off the charts wrong, First of all, there is only 1 check out person whenever I am there now. Not their fault, but why are other Giant stores able to find staff? The only girl at check out was crying and running to the back like she was ill. Next thing I know is that she is back at the register. Okay, great. Then , they did put her over at self check registers, and replaced her, which was good, because she wasn’t touching my groceries! Next, I am over in produce and I see a blond haired girl working there, sneeze directly onto the organic apples. Did not cover her mouth! I was trying to decide if I even wanted to walk near there. What the heck? Then, I go back to the fish counter, and nothing has been stocked there at all. It is never stocked before 10 AM! If you stand there and wait for someone to acknowledge you, you will be there a very long time. It’s like customers are invisible. Then, on my way out, I glance at the overflowing trash can right outside of the door. Lovely. I can be somewhat sympathetic to the staffing issues, but, then close the store! Also, the belts are always dirty. Cleaning them has gone away. I have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but, when you are spending $300 a week for groceries, these conditions are totally unacceptable. I am done with them! Read moreIf possible, I'd give this location a negative 10. My fellow people may ask me .. why? Well I will tell you. It is because just about every single employee in there, highlighting the lazy managers may I say, are astrociously and arrogantly foolish. There is a very kind pretty lady I asked the name of, she seems to do most of the work there, Tammy, a 10. She is lively and lovely. She makes that place worth bearing. There's also a couple of kind young gentlemen that seem to stock or others tasks as well, also 10s. Otherwise, everyone else gets an overall negative 10 because of their disgusting attitudes. From hearing inappropriate personal phone calls on the floor to people sitting around and goofing off, I've had it. We the customers just want to shop at a place that we can get decent prices an fet back home in exchange for money. A fair trade should it be! But alas, it is not. While I'm never much of a Karen, today's experience has just reached my last nerve an Karen has risen indeed. I'd pay to have that store shut down at this point and send those remaining kind individuals to postions with raised salaries far away from that store. I don't understand how it is fair to go into a store loyally every week, show nothing but politeness and gratitude just to be trapped on. Shame on you giant on...
