I placed an order online around 11:00 AM hoping to just run in and grab my food. I had a work meeting that was "over lunch," so the idea of being able to pick-up my food and get right back in time for my meeting was perfect. When I arrived, the cashier waited on the person in front of me and then completely disregarded me waiting in the "express pick-up" area, instead continuing to wait on the next customer in the in-store order line. I didn't consider this to be a huge issue since that customer was there before me, but would have been upset had I been overlooked twice.
When it was my turn, I walked up and gave the cashier (now a different employee who was not visibly ready for the day as she was not overly friendly and seemed tired and disinterested in helping) my name and told her that I had ordered online. She checked for it in two different parts of the prep line and came back empty-handed before asking another employee if they knew anything about my order. At that point, they pulled my order ticket from a receipt machine near the register and began making my food. While the cashier was apologetic, I left somewhat disappointed over the whole ordeal.
I'll eat here again, they did not lose my business as I understand that accidents and mistakes happen, but I did place my order well ahead of time for the purpose of getting back to work on-time for a meeting (which unfortunately did not happen) and it ended up not panning out that way simply because the machine that printed my order was not checked for over an hour. I'm wary of using Subway's online ordering system and I'm certainly going to need to alter my day more than I'd like to in order to eat at this store, which may mean less...
Read moreWe went in with four people and the girl decided to make them all at once. There was 5 other workers in the back and nobody came out to help her. Other than messing up all of our orders, she put the toasted footlongs in the oven for too long and my bread was hard and half black. I didn't say anything from this point but after that I asked for sweet onion sauce on my sandwich and she added mayo. Other than the fact that those two sauces are nowhere near related they sound nothing alike. There was hair in my food and they continued to stare at us as we are in a booth. Also we found out that they no longer carry bbq sauce and decided they should just put sweet onion sauce on a cheese steak sandwich. Terrible service and took a long time to make. Read more5 customers in the entire shop. 2 already eating, 1 already paying, me waiting to order, and another came in later. 2 young men behind the counter, 1 at the dish station. The servers literally could not handle it. They argued over who would take my order and wouldn’t speak to me until they figured it out. I stood for several minutes waiting. When the 5th person came in, they made the guy doing dishes come out and take his order but they argued over that too.
