Five Guys — Restaurant in East Hempfield Township

My family RARELY has the luxury of take out, because of the outrageous expense, but it was my son’s birthday and we treated him and 4 others to Five Guys. My son and I got the cheeseburger, that comes with 2 hamburger patties normally, but since we skipped our lunch, we “ordered” 1 extra patty each. However, once we got home, I was excited to eat my burger, but it only had two patties on mine, so I got ripped off $3 right there! Then, my wife brought me my, “Regular size fries”, in a little tiny cup, barely only fries in the cup, and the ones I did get, were like fingernail size. All of our fries were that way! I’m not sure what happened to Five Guys, but, they will surely lose many customers, do to lousy quality! I WILL NEVER GO TO FIVE GUYS AGAIN! I hope this location goes out of business, because this place isn’t nowhere close to what they were when they first started out. Let’s here...

I gave three stars because the food is good for a fast-food place; however, it is not the Ritz. Today I ordered 1 regular hamburger, 1 little cheeseburger, 1 order of large fries, and 2 drinks. The bill was $35.03. Let me say that again $35.03. I was expecting $20.00, because the fries are made from fresh potatoes. But $35.00!!! for two burgers, two drinks and one fries in a place that has a dining room that looks like a laundromat?? My shock was clearly shown in my expression. The sign on the door says it pays $14.00 an hour, but that is really what they should have been paying all along. I paid for over 2 hours of labor right there. That was my last visit...

My wife and I went to 5 guys centerville yesterday and had the worst experience we ever had there! We got there at 1:30. There was two people working, but only one was out front. The other was in the back. There was only 2 other customers in place. We placed order in and sat down. We waited 30 minutes and finally the customer next to us said that she waited so long her food was c0ld. She was waiting on a reorder. I went up to the counter and there was nobody there! There was no food being made! When the women came back I told her I want my money back. She said OK but I will have to pay for the soda I got....
