Prior to wandering the Countryside's of Lancaster, Pennsylvania we made our Breakfast stop here. Research early in the week revealed that they had Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese sandwiches... So, Guess What my choice was??? My sandwich was the "Infamous Jersey Sandwich", I had it in a Pretzel Roll with a slice of tomato and of course my favorite hotness, Jalapeno Peppers with SPK... The Pork Roll was 1 slice only, but what a slice!!! It was a very thick slice that puts most of the New Jersey establishment's to shame who usually give you their customary "3 Paper Thin Slices" that barely give you a taste of Pork Roll... Definitely a pleasant experience and I would recommend this place to other's to swing by if out her on vacation or a day trip!!! Kit had her usual, 2 Egg's scrambled, Hash Browns and this time Wheat Toast...

My husband and I are in town from Connecticut for our anniversary and found this place. SO glad we did! Food is fabulous! Staff is so friendly! Prices are great! Busy for 8 a.m. on a Friday morning. We can’t all be wrong. Ha ha :) I opted for the gobbler for breakfast. (Freshly sliced turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce on crunchy grilled Texas Toast) I LOVE these sandwiches and have one everywhere I go. Alice’s has the BEST Gobbler sandwich by far!! My husband chose the belly buster which he said was delicious. We will be back again before our weekend is over. We highly recommend Alice’s Diner!

I have been coming here for years with my mother since I was a kid. Today was hands down the worst experience I have ever had. The sandwich I requested was no longer on the menu. I drove all the way from Harrisburg just to have a meal here today. The server said that it still was able to be made and asked what kind of bread which was white bread)and all that. I get my sandwich and it’s on wheat. I asked the server to just take the sandwich off and she looks at me and says “oh, your one of those guys” even the manager or whoever was on duty was ignorant after the fact.

The food was giid. I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy with home fries. While my friend has the Gyro Omelette along with Cream chopped beef over waffle. My food was good. I just felt the biscuits were very dense compared to what I make. The home fries were home fries nothing special. The Gyro Omlette I did try a bite and that was delicious. Now the cream chipped beef icer a waffle was a great idea according to my friend. He loved the combo. I tried it and it wasnt for me personally. But, I did try just the waffle and I will be back to sample that and many more items!. Our server was fantastic and always right on point. We had absolutely no issues with our waitress. However, there was another waitress that we could clearly hear complaining to the people seated next to us about how she didnt get tipped after a last sat in a booth for 2 hours and complained about the noise. But, that these patrons needed to make sure to tip her because she is out money after that. I am sorry that is very unprofessional on so many levels. I had to really crate my inner "Karen" from going off on her or saying something to the manager on duty. Yes, tips are appreciated. Yes. Tips are earned. Yes, tips is where you make your money as a waitress. Yes, you will have some patrons you simply do not get along with. But, as long as they are in that seat they are yours to take care of. You can bad mouth them at the end of the day when you are closed or in walk-in cooler. Just do not donit in front of patrons and especially loud enough that others can hear you. Overall, we will definitely be stopping in here more often. Just we will be selective as to who our server is after hearing this. Hope to have the same sweet lady we did today! *I forgot photos I was...

Don't go to a diner and order a restaurant meal. Four in our party and only person's meal decent to eat was a BLT sandwich. One ordered turkey with filling ( whatever that is ) dinner and it looked horrible. One ordered chicken parmesan with pasta dinner and I ordered shrimp & scallops with pasta & Alfredo sauce platter. The dinners came with drink, 2 sides and dessert. The sides were mashed potatoes and gravy which was cold and string beans right out of the can, no seasonings. The Alfredo pasta was drowning in sauce and very bland tasting. We left almost as much on the plates as they gave us to begin with. The coconut cream pie looked like something from out of space and tasted just as bad. They did replace it with chocolate pie that had fallen all to pieces. That looked like they spooned it out of pan. I should have taken pictures but didn't! The waitress was not overly friendly and let our food stay under the light for about five minutes before bringing to us and they were not busy. We should have been alerted by not many cars in parking lot but we were pulling a 12 ft Uhaul trailer and needed somewhere with enough parking space. Once served she never came back to check on anyone or refill drinks. Needless to say, this was our first dining experience and will be the last at this diner. We were sick to see all the other places we could have stopped at on the way to...

Looking for a new breakfast place to try, although my wife says we have been here before (we have not - she wasn't here with me anyway). Alice's Diner had some good reviews so we decided to give it a try. Nice. clean establishment with what seemed to be a little parking lot, although we found a spot right away. Got right in and seated immediately. I like the way the booths are set up with a high chalkboard dividing them. I thought the music was a bit loud when we first walked in, but once we were seated it didn't seem too bad.

Our server was nice as we ordered from a pretty extensive breakfast menu. My wife ordered the standard breakfast fare - "dippy" eggs, home fries, bacon & toast. I decided to be adventurous and try the "Tom's Atomic Bomb", and a big 'ol hotcake. Our meals arrived at out table nice and hot, and everything was delicious. I ordered my "Atomic Bomb" with scrambled eggs - very good, but next time I will order it with eggs over easy so the eggy goodness will flow in and around that big mess of breakfast delight.

Again, everything was good, but the icing on the cake was when the owner/manager came around and checked to make sure everything was OK. I always like to see that. Prices aren't bad either. A good family place - I think Alice's Diner was a good pick, and we'll visit again soon. After all, Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal...
