Subway — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

In my opinion, this is the worst of the subways. My 5"6 13 yr old's favorite place, we've been going to Subway or years and he's been ordering the same thing...always. So we know what to expect.

This guy, who I expect may be the owner of this franchise...possible was abrupt to start, a slight impatience to move it along ( when there was not one customer in the store), never smiled once...but what really bothered me, was that this "footlong sandwich" resembled an emaciated half the size in thickness hero, as opposed to what we ALWASY receive. An overflowing sandwich (overflowing w/salad) and chicken & chz you can actually see. My son orders the "roasted chicken breast w/provolone" w/shredded lettce, cuc, tom, grn pepp, w/mustrd and ranch dressing. I would normally eat half and save the other half for the next day, but my growing 13 yr old is growing 4" a month.

When I question the guy on this..."Something looks off I say..this does not look like the sandwich we always get..Are you sure you put in everything I asked? Did you put the chicken & chz on?

Yes

Are you giving less chicken and chz for some reasn..have you reduced your serving portions...because this is the first place we've ever been to where the sandwich is closing by itself.

He gets defensive and askes if I want some more lettuce!

(Yeah, shredded iceberg..thanks a bunch pal..this was the worst footlong we ever had..I tasted my son's sandwich and it lacked the flavor and the oomph that every other place we've been to thus far has given.

Will never go back there and I suggest, you too, opt for the Subway up the road on RTE 340/Old Philadelphia Pike at the Sunoco station. You will get friendly, less depressing, more of a wawa and a "Sbway" the way it was...

I used to have this place rated with 4 stars. I enjoyed it. that was two years ago. Today, I tried again. I was extremely disappointed. I had high hopes entering because it looked pretty new, and I was excited to try it out. When I walked in, it looked great. Very clean. Although, once I started ordering, the lady that was assisting me lacked positivity and enthusiasm. I ordered a chicken and bacon flatbreat. but when I asked for it to be toasted, I was flabbergasted. I was told that the bread was made thinner than it was before and couldn't be toasted more than ten seconds. I was absolutely disappointed as I typically get my sandwich double or sometimes even triple toasted. When I ate the sandwich, it was cold and felt very light. Felt like less food. I'm typically struggling to eat the last bite, but this time, I found myself still able to eat more afterward. And only to add to the experience there was a fat fly that was...

I'm writing to complain about my recent experience. I tried to use a coupon for a promotion, but they wouldn't accept it. I'm really upset because other Subway stores accept coupons, so why not this one? First, they stopped the "buy one get one free footlongs" deal, which was disappointing. But today, when I tried to use a coupon, they refused to accept any of it. When I asked why, the cashier said the owner told them not to accept any coupons. That doesn't make sense to me. I want to know why this location doesn't accept coupons when others do. It's frustrating as a customer to see such inconsistency. Can you please look into this and let me know why this...
