I have been waiting for this place to open for months so I wanted to make sure I was there opening day. We have needed a proper AYCE Sushi place in Lancaster for years as the only options we had previously had almost no kitchen options which I find extremely important.

Based upon everything we tried I will review:

PROS: The HIBACHI!! Wow, I was not expecting a FULL plate of Hibachi. Usually at these type of places you will get a small tiny almost sampler like plate. Not here! It was a full meal. The Steak was cooked beautifully and and Veggies were so tasty and perfect! The rice was nice :) - I ended up ordering this dish twice because it was just so good and the second time I ordered the dish it was even BETTER somehow! -The BLACK PEPPER TUNA was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Thin and juicy with a nice ponzu sauce drizzle. -TOFU SKIN SUSHI - I haven't seen it much in this town but I was so glad to see it on the menu here. It was perfect! Nicely sweet and finely crafted. I ordered it a few times as you can see. (I posted a pic every item we ordered at the table during our time there) -BEEF NOODLE - Very good. Wish the beef was more prominent with larger pieces but the flavor was good -WHITE TUNA SUSHI - Always one of my favs. The taste was good but I thought it was too thin of a piece but since it is all you can eat I understand. -AVACADO SALAD - I was surprised to see this one the menu but I am glad I tried it. Very nice! Wish it had sesame seeds but I can't complain. -TAMAGO SUSHI - Happy to see this on the menu. It was pretty good. Just a little thin but it did have a nice taste. -VEGETABLE TEMPURA - It was a little batter heavy but it did have a decent taste. -CRAZY MONKEY ROLL - It was definitely the best maki roll we had. Very unique combination of flavors including fried banana.

CONS: Most of my "cons" were not all that bad but I wanted to state they were not my favorites: -MISO SOUP - This was just weird. It did not taste like any Miso I had previously. It was really strange and it was luke warm. Do not recommend. -EDAMAME - I am not an expert in Edamame. I usually get it at Wegman's all the time so I was disappointed that this one seemed to taste bland in comparison. -CRAB RANGOON - It was interesting. Not terrible by any means but not as good as what you get at most Chinese Take Out restaurants. It was almost too thin of a wrapper shell if that makes any sense. -AVACADO ROLL - It's not that the taste was bad but it was like the smallest roll I've ever seen. They were almost like micro rolls. -PHILLY ROLL - They were ok for the most part but I thought the amount of salmon inside was too little.

The service was very good and our server was so sweet and attentive. You could tell the team was working out the process since it was opening night but they did well. Since it is located in the old Ruby Tuesday there is a lot of open space in there that you typically do not see in these type of places which is nice so it never really feels crowded in there even when it is busy.

All the drinks are $2.50 and with the exception of the Apple Juice are refillable.

Overall I would recommend this place as it was very much needed in this town. I plan to return so I could try other things on the menu. I can see this being a regular...

Now I normally try to give places that I go to more than one shot before I decide whether or not Oliver go back there so I've only been there once but my review on it would be the food is fantastic I mean there's no debating that I will say this though if you're not going for sushi I wouldn't waste your time because they don't really have anything else that they might have a couple extra dishes and some sides and it says it's all you can eat but they all you can eat part you have to understand it's not a buffet so if you're going in here expecting to see a buffet it's not a buffet now as far as the service I didn't like the service the service was not very good we couldn't get her to leave us alone until we ordered the once we ordered we couldn't get her to come back and because of that it definitely took away from the atmosphere and the place wasn't even half full so it's not like this place was packed we actually ended up leaving because we got tired of waiting versus leaving because we didn't want to eat anything else you know on a day when I have some time I'll give it another shot but what I would tell the owner is stop having your servers take the orders put a POS system at the table program them to know what table is what and let us order through that the food is so fresh and you can order it as you go because when you have 70 different kinds of sushi I mean you're really people have some things that they...

We’ve been a fan of this place since we’ve discovered it, until tonight.

I spent around $500 in gift cards to everybody this past Christmas because of how much we liked it. We were there tonight and had the absolute worst service we’ve ever had before. In 40 minutes we never saw our waitress stop by our table. When I tried to flag her down to take our second order, she ignored us. Her station was not that busy at the time. I finally had had enough and said loudly enough that she could hear me from 25 feet away, “excuse me”. That’s all I said, and she came over and took our order. In the hour and 30 minutes we were there, We only got one refill of our water. When I went to pay and leave the little 17-year-old hostess yelled at me because “there is no yelling in this restaurant“. Well, I’ve never had to raise my voice in a restaurant before, and I believe most restaurants, if they saw an unhappy customer would send their manager over. But none of that happened. The only thing happened was thus arrogant 17-year-old Yelling at me when we tried to leave. When I responded that that was the worst service we’ve ever had, her retort was “you only waited 5 minutes, we checked.” Now I don’t know who she checked with. Perhaps that is the lie that the waitress told her. But that is not at all what happened.

We will not be back. I will not be purchasing any more gift cards for anybody...

Haven't gone yet but will update review once I do. I was curious about the lunch vs dinner menu, so I compared side-by-side and the menu pics I uploaded with the purple/pink dots next to the menu items are only available at dinner (in case you want to get the most bang for your buck!). Update after our visit: Went there this past Saturday for lunch (dinner menu) with some friends, and we all had a great time! Service was fantastic, and once our orders were in, it took only a few minutes before dishes started coming out! The portion sizes are small but JUST right for buffet-style, in case you want to try a bit of everything! We enjoyed the kani salad and hibachi steak. We tried a bunch of sushi rolls, too, but couldn't remember which was which, but can say they were all delicious! Drinks are NOT included with the dine-in price (extra $2.50 per drinks), but does include free refills (except for juice). Desserts ARE included in the dine-in price, though, they're a bit small and limited in options (Japanese cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and ice cream), but you could always get more! Overall, we would definitely go again! 2025 update: have gone many times over the years we and still love the place! Honestly, everything is pretty great. Love the volcano roll!

Nice service, mid food, good price for AYCE (25$/person) Walked in and got a table for our party of 11 Plenty of empty tables too, but most of the food was just ok, but good for what it’s worth Seems like they were short on staff because sometimes putting in our orders with the waiter slow You tell what roll/app/etc you want to the waiter-and you can order as many times as you want Things I thought were good Seaweed salad (can’t really mess this up though) Snow white roll Dragon roll Salmon bowl (no rice, just salmon wrapped around spicy imitation crab thing-pretty good) Yellowtail thing (also no rice) Black pepper tuna (no rice but I would rather eat the yellowtail fish) Chocolate mousse dessert was nicely ok Things I would not order again Crazy monkey roll —- (it’s just fried banana in a sushi roll, dry, you can taste the banana but it just doesn’t feel worth the stomach space, only ordered it cuz I thought I was so interesting) Cucumber salad, —- (two pieces of some pale looking cucumber with immjtation crab-the cucumbers in the avocado salad were better than this) Also icecream is just like cafeteria cups Overall it’s ok, no rush to come back unless I’m desperately wanting sushi
