Ordered Sunday dinner for four at the cost of $78.00! The order was 15 minutes late from the promised time to start. Two Frontego chicken sandwiches one customized, one chicken bacon ranch sandwich, a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a Fuji Apple Chicken salad. The custom Frontego chicken sandwich had the extra sauce as requested but only two small pieces of chicken and no basil. The other sandwich had basically not aioli sauce forgot the tomato and no basil but it did have some chicken in it. The chicken noodle soup was 3/4 full in the container with two pieces of chicken and seven noodles the rest was just broth! The Fuji Apple salad must have gotten all of the chicken because it was overloaded. Not much lettuce but lots of chicken. I did call the store and was refunded for the one sandwich since there was no chicken on it but it wasn’t until we started eating we noticed all the other issues. The associate I spoke with was apologetic but that did change the fact the food was soooo disappointing! We won’t be coming back I can’t afford to throw $78.00 out the window l’ll order a pizza at a local shop next time we order takeout. So totally...
Read moreAs a preface, I generally try to support local businesses and establishments, both with my patronage and positive reviews. I love the town in which I live.
But there are instances when my experience as a guest deserves to be recognized for what it is.
My family stopped for dinner at Panera. The location was advertised to be open until 9:00pm. We arrived at 7:45pm. They were out of three soups. I tried to order a pizza; they were out of tomato sauce. They were out of bread as a side. I tried to order a sandwich and they were out of the onions for it. I didn't order an entree at all. I was glad that the Dr. Pepper was in stock.
Other members of my party had to settle for entrees minus an advertised ingredient, but with no adjustment to the price charged.
If you don't have items or the ingredients to prepare the items, then remove them from the menu. And if you are so significantly out of product or ingredients, perhaps consider closing early with an apology posted on the door.
I could go on as there were other guests that had similar disappointment but with different menu items.
I'll find a different place to...
Read moreMost disappointing dinner from paneras I think we have ever had. To start our order said ready at 6pm, it was not out till 6:15 with no apology. We had ordered 4 items, and 2 of the items were a fontega chicken sandwiches that were customized. Neither of them were right, the one was even missing chicken all we got was sauce and cheese and 2 little skimps of chicken as pictured below. As for the second sandwich it had chicken, but forgot the tomato’s, basal, salt and pepper, looking very sad. Neither sandwich had any resemblance to the picture on the website. Now for the third sandwich that was surprisingly correct, however the “soup” was 90% broth. Now for the one and only correct entre was the Fuji apple chicken salad which I think got all of our other missing chicken! This is what $80 gets you at Panera’s rockvale store. We called the store and we did get refunded for the one sandwich and the associate was very apologetic and helpful refunding us for the sandwich. We will not be back as this is not the first time we have been scandaled at...
