Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

every time i go there they always mess something up with my order, whether it be the wrong size or missing something. this is the only fast food place my mom can eat with her allergy, so it's the only reason we go back to this chick fil a. last time we went, my mom ordered a salad and after waiting an eternity in line they told us to pull to the side because they were making the it fresh. we get home, and there's no chicken in the salad whatsoever. my mom called the store because she was upset at this happening AGAIN. the store manager called her back and actually had the gall to put the issue on her and tell her that she should just look in her bag to make sure everything's there. we've already taken to doing so because of how frequently they mess up, but this time it was dark and impossible to see that there was no chicken in the salad. realistically, what are we supposed to do, sit there and inspect every part of the order down to the ingredients in each? i check to see if every order's there. quality assurance on such a level is not the job of the customer, as the store manager tried to claim. then she just kept making excuses for why they always mess up orders, and implied that it was an issue on our end as the customer. needless to say that phone call was enlightening as to why this chick fil a operates the way it does. i hope you all have better luck with this location, as i haven't really seen any other reviews with the same issue, but i find it really hard to believe that im the only one who's experienced this. i guess just know that at this chick fil a there's a very strong likelihood that your order will...

My wife and I were assisting the boys basketball booster club and picking up catering orders on a Wednesday night and Thursday night. There are closer franchises, but not that do catering. Our order was 80 original chicken sandwiches each night. Both to be picked up at 6 p.m. They did a Super job of verifying the order the day of, as I am a pessimist, this is enormous. We show up exactly at 6 on Wednesday after an accident on Rt 30 caused a few minutes of delay. The restaurant was Packed, but found a spot to park. When inside we went to the take out area & got with a manager to work on the pickup. After some confusion she found the order and we paid after some info was typed into the computer as they are tax exempt. The 80 sandwiches were in 4 huge plastic bags. When we inquired about the heater bags we thought they would come in, we were informed they went to re-sale catering customers only (like the football team on Friday home games). We understood, cranked the heat in the car and put them in coolers when back at the school. The next day the restaurant was less busy and an Extremely helpful young man helped us pay for the new 80 sandwich order, again confirmed wonderfully during the day. This time he brought out 2 heater bags with 40 each! When we asked he said, of course these come along & we needed to return the next morning. So they aren't on the same page on that! I brought the coolers along for no reason & we then had an extra hour drive to return the heater bags. The kids loved the sandwiches! Half got them at 7:30 & half at 9! All said still warm and delicious that long after 6 o'clock pickup. Great...

I had visited Chick-fil-A years ago and it was just an 'eh' kind of experience, but lately I've come to join the legion of devotees. Visited this particular location for lunch and had a great experience. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. There was only one person taking orders so there was a bit of a line, but Chick-fil-A has a knack for keeping things moving. The line moved quickly and we placed our order. We were given a 'cone' and took our seats. In just a few minutes our order was brought out to our table - that's crazy in a fast-food restaurant. Everybody is so nice & helpful at Chick-fil-A - a lady I will call 'dining room hostess' checked on us a few times to make sure everything was OK, and to see if we needed anything. We needed dipping sauce, ketchup & napkins, and she took care of us. With a fantastic attitude too, I might add. The chicken sandwiches are fantastic, as you all know. And the milkshakes are incredible. I'm now a big fan of Chick-fil-A. Love the food, the atmosphere & the morale of the employees. Fast-food doesn't get any...
