My review below is accurate. The reply to it is full of LIES. I entered the hotel and went straight over to the coffee. I did not speak to anyone, at all, until I was on the elevator. There is no excuse for the way I was treated. I am a Platinum member and have been in contact with the Comfort Inn directly, they were apologetic, but not willing to deal with this aggressive person. Please stay away from this hotel, there are a lot of places that will treat you well.
I am a PA small business owner that was in town for an auction. I parked the truck while my wife paid for the room. The lady and gentleman at the counter were polite and helpful. When a small computer issue came up a large woman who appeared to be the manager came to the front desk. She was aggressive and rude to her employees in front of customers, which is never a good idea. I waited by the coffee, it has been a very long drive and when the room was paid for went to go to the elevator. This same large woman came out of the office and started ranting and raving about rules. I had not spoken to her at all and had not been near another person, other then my wife. All I did say was that it would be good to be polite, which started another rant, as the elevator doors closed. Instead of going out for a meal and to the stores, my wife ordered a pizza to be delivered, for fear of being attacked by the woman again. The way she spoke made it clear that she had not respect, regard or compassion for customers. We stay in hotels 15-20 times a year and have come to expect a comfortable bed and clean room, and polite staff. The mattress was well worn, had a low spot and I woke up with a bad back. There was a burn mark on the shower curtain rid and an accumulation of black material in the shower tiles. I will never again stay at this hotel and encourage anyone else to...
Read moreWe got to stay here one night because of a last minute thing. It was a very good value for the money. They do a free breakfast which is always a bonus. We don't usually get to utilize a free breakfast because we're on these trips for swim meets and the call time is usually too early. But they have a nice breakfast there. There was a decent variety- eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles, yogurt, fruit cereal, toast, etc.
The bed was amazing. First time in a LONG time my son and I didn't wake up in pain. I planned to open the sheets and find the name/style of the mattress because painless sleep is MAJOR for us and almost never happens. This is why my three star rating for service comes in though. I went back the next day after we checked out to find out what kind of mattress it is and they didn't want to let me look or really find out themselves. I could've found that info in a hot second and while the guy at the desk did attempt it, all he came back to me with was "beautyrest" and that isn't helpful.
I then contacted corporate and they told me I'd have to find out from the actual hotel because they can't tell me. All I wanted to know is what damn mattress they use and I got a lot of runaround. I don't really understand this, because Choice Hotels actually SELLS their bedding. So WHY DON'T THEY WANT TO TELL ME ABOUT THE BED?? I feel like the guys at the desk just didn't want to have to remake the bed. I'm so annoyed I forgot to look before we left, and I'm never going to be in Lancaster again in my life I assume, so I'm out of luck.
Beyond that, the location is great, plenty of restaurants, shopping, attractions. Room was clean and nice. I was pleasantly surprised and would stay there again or recommend it to anyone looking to stay in that area. It seemed safe too. It's a little set back with...

Stay away from the Comfort Suites Amish Country in Lancaster, PA because Jodi Rodriguez is also the general manager there.||||The Comfort Inn is very dirty, has bugs (spiders and ants) and whatever else might be in the room (see pics) and bloodied and stained mattress cover covering the mattress (see pics). CHECK YOUR BED before sleeping in it. You don’t know what you might find.||||The Comfort Inn staff are confrontational especially George who is not helpful to guests but is combative and argumentative with guests. Jodi Rodriguez, general manager, does not return phone calls or respond to emails. You have to call the corporate office to file a complaint about this hotel.||||The Comfort Inn advised that they do not have housekeeping services except if you stay 4 nights (there is no sign for that). They never clean the room during your stay only when you check out. The only sign they have located at the front desk blames the pandemic for staffing shortages (see pic). THE PANDEMIC IS OVER. ||||It says a lot that there is a staffing shortage at the Comfort Inn and the Comfort Suites Amish Country managed by Jodi Rodriguez. Other Choice hotels provide housekeeping services.||||We will never stay at this Comfort Inn and any other property managed by Jodi Rodriguez. ||||JODI RODRIGUEZ needs to be retrained and all of her staff on customer service and keeping a clean hotel for their...
